Abstract

Figure 00000001
The detonation of, for example, a grenade or another explosive body is simulated by the evaporation of a liquid and subsequent ejection through a nozzle (17), a cloud of fog forming at the detonation site. The device comprises an evaporator (10) which is heated, for example, electrically. The heater (14) is designed to produce the heat in order to cause a continuous evaporation of a liquid in the evaporator. A mixture of ethylene glycol in water is preferred as the liquid. It is thus possible to simplify handling and use and to reduce the risk potential.
