  • a driving range is a place where golf players are able to practise long shots. It consists of an area to the edge of the course on which tees have been created. Golf balls are shot from these areas and land on the driving range. At regular intervals these balls are collected again and once more made available to the practising golfer, usually by way of a ball-dispensing machine with coin-insertion. If, following rain-fall, the ground where the golf balls land is wet then obviously sand, clay and mowed grass sticks to the balls. In that case, the balls will have to be washed to avoid damaging the ball-dispensing machine and also because golfers only want to play with clean balls.

In this way and due to the bulk inertia of the ball, extra brushing effect is created and the ball is simultaneously "brushed" upwards.

Abstract

L'invention concerne un dispositif de lavage et de transport de balles de golf qui, grâce à des brosses rotatives (1 à 8), permet non seulement le lavage des balles (10) de golf, mais également, dans le même temps, leur transport jusqu'au niveau requis, de manière que les balles de golf puissent être recueillies sans appareil auxiliaire dans un réservoir à balles. En outre, le flux d'eau émanant des pulvérisateurs (14) rince les balles en direction inverse, de manière que les balles les plus sales soient lavées avec l'eau la plus sale, et à mesure que ces balles deviennent propres, elles sont rincées avec de l'eau plus propre, ce qui permet d'obtenir un lavage des plus efficaces utilisant aussi peu d'eau que possible.

Claims (1)

  1. Un dispositif de lavage et de transport de balles de golf, composé d'un boítier (15) avec déversoir (9) et canal d'éjection (13), brosses rotatives placées horizontalement dans le boítier (1 t/m 8), une rangée d'aspersoirs (14) et une évacuation d'eau et de saletés (16), caractérisé en ce que les brosses rotatives, par le sens opposé de leur rotation, et les espaces (a) et (b) ménagés face à face entre les brosses et le plateau de guidage (11), assurent outre le lavage des balles, également leur transport à la verticale, tandis que a chaque passage à la brosse suivante, le changement de rotation de la balle lui donne un brossage supplémentaire, permettant de déposer les balles de golfe dans le réservoir placé dessous sans intervention humaine ou mécanique et an ce que l'eau est amenée dans la partie supérieure par les aspersoirs (14) et évacuée par le canal d'évacuation (16) situé sur la partie inférieure, avec pour conséquence que les balles les plus sales sont d'abord rincées avec l'eau la plus sale et au fur et à mesure qu'elles deviennent plus propres, sont aussi rincées avec une eau plus propre, permettant d'obtenir un bon effet de lavage avec un minimum d'eau.
