    characterized in that
    the annular chamber (64) comprises a wall of a plurality of resiliently deflectable lamellae (46) projecting from the opening rim (62) substantially in the axial direction (28).
  34. A plug as claimed in claim 33
    characterized in that
    the lamellae (66) extend from the opening rim (62) in an inclined manner towards the inside.
  35. A plug as claimed in at least one of the preceding claims,
    characterized in that
    the opening rim (62) comprises a sealing lip (67) projecting in the direction towards the abutment end (63) of the sealing element (60).
  36. A plug as claimed in at least one of the preceding claims,
    characterized in that
    the sealing lip (67) is formed as a V-notch encompassing the axial bore (4) within the plug sleeve (15).
  37. A plug as claimed in at least one of the preceding claims,
    characterized in that
    the sealing element comprises a sealing rim (69) engaging into a recess (68) between the sealing lip (67) and the lamellae (66).
  38. A plug as claimed in at least one of the preceding claims,
    characterized in that
    the sealing element (60) is formed at least of two parts formed by an outer sealing ring (70) and an inner sealing ring (71).
  39. A plug as claimed in claim 38,
    characterized in that
    the inner sealing ring (71) comprises an annularly extending sealing flange (72) as a sealing rim (69).
  40. A plug as claimed in at least one of the preceding claims,
    characterized in that
    the outer sealing ring can be slipped onto the inner sealing ring for abutment with the sealing flange (72) arranged on the one end (73) of the inner sealing ring (71).
  41. A plug as claimed in at least one of the preceding claims,
    characterized in that
    the outer sealing ring and the inner sealing ring (70, 71) are made of different materials.
  42. A plug as claimed in at least one of the preceding claims,
    characterized in that
    the rotation preventing arm (36) is resiliently deflectable.
  43. A plug as claimed in at least one of the preceding claims,
    characterized in that
    independent of the position of the insertion opening (43) in the annular flange (42) relative to the engagement recess (37) in the plug sleeve (15) a strain relief by the strain relief means (10) can be established.
  44. A plug as claimed in at least one of the preceding claims,
    characterized in that
    a means preventing rotation can be established by engagement in particular of a rotation preventing projection (36) into an engagement recess (37) automatically after establishing the strain relief by the strain relief means (10).
