In weiterer Vervollkommnung der Erfindung kann schließlich noch vorgesehen werden, daß die Innenumfangsfläche des Feststellergehäuses und/oder der in dieses eingreifende Längenabschnitt des Scharnierstiftes entweder mit einer Gleitbeschichtung oder aber mit einer Randschichthärtung ausgestattet ist.

Dem die Brems-und Halteeinrichtung bildenden Bereich 11 des Feststellergehäuses 4 ist ein eine komplementär von der reinen Kreisform abweichende Profilquerschnittsform aufweisen der Längenabschnitt 12 eines Scharnierstiftes 13 zugeordnet. Der Scharnierstift 13 weist ausgehend von seinem Kopfteil 14 in Eintreibrichtung aufeinanderfolgend eine Anzahl von Abstufungen seines Durchmessers auf, wobei ein erster Durchmesser 15 der diesseitigen Drehlagerung 16 des Scharnierstiftes 13 im Feststellergehäuse 4, eine erste Durchmesserabstufung der Ausbildung der Brems-und Haltemittel 12, eine zweite Durchmesserabstufung 17 der jenseitigen Drehlagerung 18 des Scharnierstiftes 13 im Feststellergehäuse 4 und schließlich eine weitere Durchmesserabstufung 19 der Festlegung des Scharnierstiftes 13 im Profilschenkel 10 der anderen umgreifenden Scharnierhälfte 2 zugeordnet sind. Im Bereich dessen beider Enden sind im Feststellergehäuse 4 jeweils eine eine Drehlagerung für den Scharnierstift 13 bildende zylindrische Lagerausnehmung 20 und 21 ausgebildet, welche im Interesse einer vereinfachten Herstellungsweise untereinander gleiche Durchmesser besitzen. Dem Ausgleich der der jenseitigen Drehlagerung 18 zugeordneten Durchmesserabstufung 17 des Scharnierstiftes 13 ist eine die Differenz zwischen der lichten Weite der Lagerausnehmung 21 im Feststellergehäuse 4 und dem Durchmesser der Durchmesserabstufung 17 des Scharnierstiftes 18 ausgleichende Ausgleichsbuchse 22 zugeordnet, bei der dargestellten Ausführungsform ist sowohl diesseitigen 16 als auch der jenseimgen Drehlagerung 18 des Scharnierstiftes 13 jeweils eine als Kragenbuchse 23 bzw. 24 ausgebildete Buchse aus einem wartungsfreien Lagermaterial zugeordnet, wobei die der jenseitigen Lagerung 18 des Scharnierstiftes 13 zugeordnete Lagerbuchse 24 die dem Ausgleich der Differenz in der lichten Weite der Lagerausnehmung 21 für die jenseitige Drehlagerung 18 und der zugeordneten Durchmesserabstufung 17 des Scharnierstiftes 13 dienende Ausgleichsbuchse 22 übergreift. In der Zeichnung zum Ausführungsbeispiel ist im weiteren noch gezeigt, daß der Scharnierstift 13 in beiden Profilschenkeln 10 der übergreifenden U-förmigen Scharnierhälfte 2 jeweils mittels einer Umfangsrändel 25 drehsicher festgelegt ist. Ferner ist das aus einem Längenabschnitt eines Hohlprofilmaterials gebildete Feststellergehäuse 4 beidendig in den beiden Seitenbereichen 5 der Hutprofilform der einen Scharnierhälfte 1 festgelegt, wobei das eine Ende des Feststellergehäuses 4 den zugehörigen Seitenbereich 5 des Hutprofiles mit seinem vollen Außenumfang durchgreift und im anderen Seitenbereich 5 des Hutprofiles über eine Durchmessereinschnürung 26 festgelegt ist.
