Zum Verlegen einer Abschlußleiste wird daher zuerst das Hohlprofil an der den Fußboden od. dgl. begrenzenden Wand angedübelt, wobei das Hohlprofil aus einzelnen kürzeren Stücken oder aus über längere Strecken durchgehenden Profilschienen bestehen kann. Der durch die nach vorn offene Profilform entstehende Hohlraum eignet sich bestens zur Aufnahme bzw. zum Verlegen beliebiger Leitungen, worauf das Abdeckprofil mit dem Hohlprofil verrastet wird, so daß sich für die verlegten Leitungen ein geschlossener, schützender Kanal ergibt. Claims (4)

  1. A system comprising a cover strip (1), particularly for floors, and a device for wall mounting said cover strip (1), with a dish-shaped cross-section having a flat middle portion (2), a foot portion (3) for placing on the floor, and an upper cover portion (4) which extends rearwardly and preferably obliquely upwards, characterised in that a fixing fitting (5) is provided, the depth of which is adapted to the distance of the middle portion (2) of the cover strip (1) from the wall, said fitting (5) having a forwardly open hollow profile (6) fixable rearwardly to the wall (W), and a cover profile (7) which seals off the hollow profile and is adapted to bear in locking engagement against the hollow profile (6), and in that the cover strip (1) is adapted to be stuck on the externally flat cover profile (7), preferably by means of a double-sided adhesive tape (8).
  2. A system according to claim 1, characterised in that the hollow profile (6) consists basically of a U-profile, of which the U-limbs (9, 19) form support and catch parts (11, 12), and in that the cover profile (7) has inwardly directed support and catch projections (13, 14) associated with the support and catch parts (11, 12).
  3. A system according to claim 2, characterised in that the bottom U-limb (9) of the hollow profile (6) forms a support part (11) in the form of an upwardly angled edge web (15) over which there can be overlapped a support limb (16) of the cover profile acting as a support projection (13), and in that the upper U-limb (10) has a catch part (12) in the form of a clamping web (17) or a clamping gap with which there is associated a catch projection (14) in the form of a clamping gap (18) or a clamping web of the cover profile (7).
