Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a connector for a shielded cable, the Shield braid over a conductive material at least on the circumference provided ring with a shielding part of one with plug connections Provided housing is connected, which receives the wire ends and makes contact with the plug connections, the ring being a slotted one Tension ring is.
A connector is known from DE 8718095 U1, where the Shield braid of the cable folded backwards by about 180 ° via a ring and then with contact tabs of shielding sheets together with With the help of a squeeze ring. The wires of the cable will be connected in a known manner with contacts, and the shielding plates are preferred up to the connection contacts. The connection of one shielded cable still requires a relatively large one Effort, especially because of the necessary contact with the Shield plates over a crimp ring.
From US-A 4 337 989, which is the closest prior art is considered, is a connector of the type mentioned known. In this design, an upper and a lower shell is as Shield provided for the connector, each with semi-cylindrical ends are provided, each of the shield braid during assembly the cable is gripped and spread by a tool and ring slid over the ends of the screen, following loosening the tool reduces its diameter in contact with can be brought to the cable shield. Because before that with the cable ends assembled plug housing must be inserted into the shells, assembly is relatively complex.
The present invention has for its object a connector of the type mentioned in such a way that a simple Contact with the braided shield of the cable simultaneously with the assembly of the housing is possible.
In order to solve this problem, the input at a connector mentioned type provided that the ring resiliently against one of its contour adapted contact surface of the shielding part and against a recess of a housing part is pressed. This configuration will the contacting of the shielding braid with the shielding plates in a simple way by assembling a two-part housing reached, with the resilient clamping ring the necessary contact manufactures the shielding plates. The separate pressing one Squeeze ring becomes superfluous. The contact with the shielding braid of the cable takes place simultaneously with the assembly of the housing.
In a development of the invention, the wires of the cable can be in guides a wire carrier consisting of insulating material, which is separated from the housing or movably arranged on it, wherein Openings in the wire carrier leading to the guides for the wires are provided and protruding transversely to the direction of insertion in the housing Contacting peaks are present when inserting the wire carrier Contact the wires through the openings in the housing and with Plug contacts in chambers of the housing open to the outside bring. This configuration allows the wires to be proportionate simply inserted into the initially loose wire carrier which is then inserted into the housing.
In a further development of the invention, the shielding part can be in the range from Plug-in lugs to the outside for contacting a Have socket, and the entire connector housing can be from one Protective cap made of non-conductive material, in which Shield plates can be inserted.

The connector shown in FIGS. 1 to 3 for the connection
a flexible
The
Schutzkappe 7. The new connector therefore consists of the
The
gezogen. Der federnde Schnapphaken 7a liegt dabei an der
Unterseite des Gehäuses, wo eine entsprechende Aussparung 15
vorgesehen ist.The single wires of the wire pairs are then in the slots
