Abstract

Die Herstellung von Pulveransätzen für die Hartmetall-Fertigung schließt die Reduktion von Metalloxiden zu Metallpulver und die anschließende Karburierung zu Metallkarbid mit ein. Bisher verwendete Verfahren sind sehr kostenintensiv, meist wegen sehr langer Reaktionszeiten bei hohen Temperaturen. Nach dem vorliegenden, besonders wirtschaftlichen Verfahren laufen die genannten Reaktionen im Bereich von Sekunden und darunter in einem bauseitig eher einfach ausgestalteten Hochtemperatur-Zyklon als Reaktionskammer ab. Das zu reagierende Gut wird mit Reaktions- und/oder Trägergas kontinuierlich als feste Pulverphase in die Kammer eingebracht und durchläuft diese zur Reaktion auf vorbestimmten Bahnen, ohne dabei den festen Phasenzustand zu verlassen.
