Abstract

The winder consists of a number of mandrels (21, 21') in a housing turning about a fixed support, each connected to a motor shaft (5) in bearings. Each motor has a rotor (32) and a stator (33) and is mounted in an individual frame so that each mandrel, drive shaft and rotor form an separate assembly which is interchangeable and has an axis lying parallel to that of the support.
