Abstract

Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft eine Vorrichtung und ein Verfahren zur Aufbereitung von Abfällen, insbesondere Abfälle mit organischen Anteilen, mit mindestens einer drehbaren Zerkleinerungstrommel mit Schwerstoffausschleusung. Die Zerkleinerungstrommel (12) weist dabei in ihrem Inneren mindestens einen freibeweglich angeordneten Mahlkörper auf, wobei der oder die Mahlkörper mittels einer Trennvorrichtung (16) in der Zerkleinerungstrommel (12) zurückgehalten wird bzw. werden. Die Zerkleinerungstrommel (12) weist zudem einen Rückhaltering (18) auf, der unzerkleinerte Abfälle bis zum Erreichen einer entsprechenden, vorbestimmten Teilchengröße in der Zerkleinerungstrommel (12) zurückhält. Das Verfahren zur Aufbereitung von Abfällen verwendet die vorbeschriebene Vorrichtung.
