Abstract

The pistol handgrip has a grip shell (3) with side guides (31) to be pushed from below over the pistol butt (2). It may be used on a wide variety of different types of firearm. The guides at the grip shell and butt are angled by 1-10 degrees against matching guide surfaces (32) at the shell and butt, as a swallowtail fit. The grip shell has a base body of a thermoplastic, with injection moulded grip surfaces (30) of an elastomer.
