Description

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Selbstklebeetikett gemäß dem Oberbegriff des Patentanspruches 1.
Aus der EP 0 463 193 B1 ist ein Selbstklebeetikett zur Etikettierung von zylindrischen oder prismatischen Behältnissen mit mindestens einem abtrennbaren Abschnitt bekannt. Dieses Selbstklebeetikett weist die Form eines länglichen Streifens auf, der um den Umfang des Behältnisses herumgeführt wird. Der abtrennbare Abschnitt ist an dem einen Endbereich des Streifens angeordnet. Das gesamte Etikett ist im Hinblick auf den Durchmesser bzw. Außenumfang des Behältnisses so bemessen, daß der abtrennbare Abschnitt nach dem Anbringen des Etikettes den anderen entgegengesetzten Endbereich des Streifens überlappt und eine lösbare Verbindung mit diesem anderen Endbereich eingeht, der zu diesem Zweck mit einer Trennschicht aus Silikon beschichtet ist. Der abtrennbare Abschnitt ist über eine Perforierung bzw. Abreißlinie mit dem Rest des streifenförmigen Etikettes verbunden. Diese Abreißlinie kommt beim Anbringen des Etikettes auf dem anderen, mit der Trennschicht versehenen Endbereich zu liegen.
Ein Problem eines derartigen Etikettes besteht darin, daß beim Abtrennen des abtrennbaren Abschnittes ein undefiniertes Abreißen desselben erfolgt, wenn das Abreißen nicht gezielt entlang der Abreißlinie ausgeführt wird. Dies bedeutet, daß beim Abreißen des abtrennbaren Abschnittes die hierfür erforderlichen Zugkräfte in einer ganz bestimmten Weise ausgeübt werden müssen.
Die Aufgabe der vorliegenden Erfindung besteht darin, ein Selbstklebeetikett der genannten Art dahingehend zu verbessern, daß das Abreißen des abtrennbaren Abschnittes automatisch entlang der Abreißlinie erfolgt, ohne daß hierfür besondere Vorgehensweisen erforderlich sind.
Diese Aufgabe wird durch ein Selbstklebeetikett mit den Merkmalen des Patentanspruches 1 gelöst.
Der wesentliche Vorteil der vorliegenden Erfindung besteht darin, daß durch eine besonders einfache Maßnahme, die nämlich in einer bestimmten Dimensionierung der Länge des abtrennbaren Abschnittes in Bezug auf den Umfang des Behältnisses besteht, erreicht wird, daß das Selbstklebeetikett beim Abtrennen des abtrennbaren Abschnittes stets entlang der Abreißlinie eingerissen wird. Vorteilhafterweise wird dadurch erreicht, daß die von den vorliegenden Etiketten abgetrennten Abschnitte jeweils stets die gewünschte, durch die Abreißlinie vorgegebene Form aufweisen. Dies gilt auch für den jeweils am Behältnis verbleibenden Rest des Selbstklebeetikettes.
Im folgenden wird die Erfindung im Zusammenhang mit den Figuren näher erläutert. Es zeigen:

ein vorliegendes Selbstklebeetikett, das an einem zylindrischen Behältnis befestigt ist;

das Selbstklebeetikett der Figur 1 im ausgebreiteten Zustand, wobei die einzelnen Abmessungen angegeben sind und
Fig. 3
eine Weiterbildung der Erfindung.
In der Figur 1 ist ein zylindrisches Behältnis, an dem das vorliegende Selbstklebeetikett 1 anzubringen ist, mit 2 bezeichnet. Das Selbstklebeetikett 1 weist, wie dies insbesondere auch aus der Figur 2 ersichtlich ist, die Form eines länglichen Streifens auf, wobei an einem Endbereich des Streifens wenigstens ein abtrennbarer Abschnitt 3 in der Längsrichtung des Streifens angeordnet und über eine Abreißlinie 4, vorzugsweise eine Perforierung oder Schwachstelle, mit dem Rest des Streifens verbunden ist. Vorzugsweise weist der genannte längliche Streifen eine rechteckige Form auf. Das Etikett weist eine Vorderseite V und eine Rückseite R auf. Die Vorderseite V ist im wesentlichen ganzflächig mit einer dehäsiven Trennschicht, vorzugsweise einer aufgedruckten Silikonschicht versehen. Die Vorderseite V trägt sowohl auf dem abtrennbaren Abschnitt, wie auch auf dem Rest des Selbstklebeetikettes 1 verschiedene Aufdrucke, die beispielsweise Aufschluß geben über den Hersteller und den Inhalt des Etikettes. Vorzugsweise werden diese Aufdrucke vor dem Aufbringen der Trennschicht auf die Vorderseite des Selbstklebeetikettes aufgedruckt. Das Selbstklebeetikett kann an seiner Vorderseite V außerdem fensterförmige Aussparungen 5 sowohl auf dem abtrennbaren Abschnitt, wie auch auf dem Rest des Selbstklebeetikettes 1 aufweisen, die nicht mit dem Material der Trennschicht bedruckt sind, so daß dort auch später beim Gebrauch des Selbstklebeetikettes 1 Aufdrucke oder Beschriftungen aufgebracht werden können.
Auf der Rückseite R (Figur 1) weist das Selbstklebeetikett 1 eine Klebeschicht auf, mit der es vor der Verwendung lösbar auf einem mit einer dehäsiven Schicht beschichteten Trägermaterial U aufgeklebt ist. Zum Gebrauch wird das Etikett von diesem Trägermaterial U abgelöst bzw. abgezogen und mit der genannten Klebstoffschicht der Rückseite R an der Außenseite des Behältnisses 2 gemäß Figur 1 verklebt, wobei der abtrennbare Abschnitt im wesentlichen den ihm entgegengesetzten Endbereich 6 des Selbstklebeetikettes 1 überlappt und mit diesem eine lösbare Verbindung eingeht, so daß er jederzeit von dem Endbereich 6 abgehoben und vom Selbstklebeetikett 1 abgetrennt werden kann.
Das Wesentliche besteht nun darin, daß das Selbstklebeetikett 1 in Bezug auf das Behältnis 2 so dimensioniert ist, daß die Abreißlinie 4, die sich vorzugsweise senkrecht zur Längserstreckung des Selbstklebeetikettes 1 erstreckt, im Gegensatz zum Stand der Technik nicht auf dem Endbereich 6 zu liegen kommt, sondern vom Ende des Endbereiches 6 durch einen Abstand A beabstandet ist, so daß der abtrennbare Abschnitt 3 im Bereich zwischen der Abreißlinie 4 und dem Ende des Endbereiches 6 auf dem Behältnis 2 verklebt wird. Der Abstand A beträgt beispielsweise etwa einen Millimeter. Dies hat zur Folge, daß beim Abreißen des abtrennbaren Abschnittes 3 kein undefiniertes Einreißen außerhalb der Abreißlinie 4 erfolgt, sondern daß wegen der im Abstand A bestehenden Klebekraft zwischen dem abtrennbaren Abschnitt 3 und dem Behältnis 2 die Abtrennung entlang der Abreißlinie 4 erfolgt, weil die auf den abtrennbaren Abschnitt 3 ausgeübten Zugkräfte im wesentlichen unabhängig von ihrer Richtung stets in eine Richtung etwa entlang der Abreißlinie 4 geleitet werden.
Es wird darauf hingewiesen, daß der abtrennbare Abschnitt 3 gemäß Figur 3 durch zusätzliche Abreißlinien 41, 42, die beispielsweise senkrecht zur Abreißlinie 4 verlaufen, in mehrere abtrennbare Abschnitte 31, 32, 33 unterteilt sein kann, die unabhängig voneinander vom Selbstklebeetikett 1 ablösbar sind. Auch bei dieser Ausführungsform gilt das für die im Zusammenhang mit den Figuren 1 und 2 für die Abreißlinie 4 Ausgeführte.
In an sich bekannter Weise können der abtrennbare Abschnitt 3 oder die abtrennbaren Abschnitte 31, 32, 33 jeweils sogenannte Anfaßlaschen 10 aufweisen, die an der Rückseite R keine Klebstoffschicht besitzen, oder eine Klebstoffneutralisierung aufweisen, so daß das Ablösen der genannten abtrennbaren Abschnitte erleichtert wird.
In Figur 2 ist die Gesamtlänge des Selbstklebeetikettes 1: I + II. Diese Länge I + II ist größer bemessen als der Umfang des Behältnisses 2. Die Länge I, die von dem dem abtrennbaren Abschnitt 3 gegenüberliegenden Ende des Etikettes 1 bis zur Abreißlinie 4 reicht, ist etwas kleiner zu bemessen als der Umfang des Behältnisses 2, so daß sich der oben genannte Abstand A zwischen der Abreißlinie 4 und dem Überlappungsbereich zwischen dem abtrennbaren Abschnitt 3 und dem Endbereich 6 ergibt.

Claims (10)

  1. Selbstklebeetikett in der Form eines länglichen Streifens, der an seiner einem Behältnis (2) zugewandten Rückseite (R) eine Klebeschicht aufweist, mit der er am Umfang des Behältnisses (2) verklebbar ist, wobei an eine Seite des länglichen Streifens (1) entlang einer Abreißlinie (4) wenigstens ein abtrennbarer Abschnitt (3) angeformt ist, dessen mit der Klebstoffschicht versehene Rückseite (R) beim Anbringen des länglichen Streifens an dem Behältnis (2) die andere Seite des länglichen Streifens (1) überlappt, wobei im Überlappungsbereich auf der anderen Seite eine das Ablösen des abtrennbaren Abschnittes (3) ermöglichende Trennschicht angeordnet ist, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß das Selbstklebeetikett (1) so bemessen ist, daß ein an die Abreißlinie (4) angrenzender Bereich (A) des abtrennbaren Abschnittes (3) beim Anbringen des Selbstklebeetikettes am Behältnis (2) auf dem Behältnis (2) zu liegen kommt und an diesem verklebt wird.
  2. Selbstklebeetikett nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß der längliche Streifen so bemessen ist, daß seine Länge (I) zwischen dem Ende der anderen Seite und der Abreißlinie (4) geringfügig kleiner ist als der Umfang des Behältnisses (2).
  3. Selbstklebeetikett nach Anspruch 1 oder 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Abreißlinie (4) senkrecht zur Längserstreckung des länglichen Streifens verläuft.
  4. Selbstklebeetikett nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 3, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß der längliche Streifen eine rechteckige Form besitzt
  5. Selbstklebeetikett nach Anspruch 3 oder 4, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Länge (I) etwa 1 mm kleiner ist als der Umfang des Behältnisses (2).
  6. Selbstklebeetikett nach einem der Ansprüche 3 bis 8, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß der abtrennbare Abschnitt (3) durch wenigstens eine weitere Abreißlinie (41, 42) in mehrere abtrennbare Abschnitte (31, 32, 33) unterteilt ist.
  7. Selbstklebeetikett nach Anspruch 6, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die weiteren Abreißlinien (41, 42) quer zur Abreißlinie (4) verlaufen.
  8. Selbstklebeetikett nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 7, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß der abtrennbare Abschnitt (3) bzw. die weiteren abtrennbaren Abschnitte (31, 32, 33) mit einer Anfaßlasche (10) versehen sind, die an ihrer Rückseite klebstoffrei ist oder eine Klebstoffneutralisierung aufweist.
  9. Selbstklebeetikett nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 8, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß der längliche Streifen auf seiner gesamten Vorderseite mit der dehäsiven Trennschicht versehen ist.
  10. Selbstklebeetikett nach Anspruch 9, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Trennschicht fensterförmige Aussparungen (5) zum Bedrucken oder Beschriften des Selbstklebeetikettes aufweist.
