Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft einen Unterputz-Einbaukasten für Sanitärarmaturen, insbesondere zur Verwendung bei Vorwandsystemen im sanitären Trockenausbau, mit

  • b) in der Einbaulage etwa senkrecht zur Oberfläche der Einbauwand verlaufenden Seitenwänden, die gemeinsam mit dem Boden einen einseitig offenen Innenraum definieren;
  • c) mindestens einer Durchführung für eine Wasserzulaufleitung;
  • d) Befestigungsmitteln für eine im Innenraum anzubringende Sanitärarmatur. Unterputz-Einbaukästen dienen dazu, den Einbauraum einer sanitären Unterputzarmatur innerhalb einer Einbauwand freizuhalten und zu definieren. Die Einbauwand weist dabei ein Zugangsfenster auf, welches den Zugang zu dem Einbaukasten ermöglicht und in fertiggestelltem Zustand durch abnehmbare Sichtelemente (z. B. eine Rosette), abgedeckt ist. Zwischen den Rändern des Zugangsfensters der Einbauwand und den Seitenwänden des Einbaukastens verbleibt im allgemeinen ein gewisser Spalt, durch welchen Feuchtigkeit in das Wandinnere eindringen kann. Die Abdichtung dieses Spaltes bereitet insbesondere bei sogenannten Vorwandsystemen für den Trockenausbau Probleme. Die Dicke derartiger Vorwände, die im allgemeinen durch den Abstand zwischen einer Montageplatte, welche die tragende Struktur bildet, und einer zum Rauminneren zeigenden Verkleidung definiert ist, variiert nämlich je nach Einsatzort und Hersteller des Vorwandsystemes erheblich. Nach diesseitiger Kenntnis ist die Bewältigung dieses Abdichtungsproblems bisher noch nicht gelungen.Die DE-C-32 37 419 beschreibt eine Wandinstallation einer sanitären Unterputzarmatur. Bei dieser bekannten Wandinstallation wird allerdings kein Einbaukasten verwendet; vielmehr befindet sich das Armaturengehäuse der entsprechenden Sanitärarmatur direkt innerhalb der Einbauwand. Eine Feuchtigkeitsdämmfolie erstreckt sich im Bereich der Verkleidung der Einbauwand im wesentlichen über deren gesamte Erstreckung hinweg. Zur Überbrückung des Spaltes zwischen der Außenfläche des Armaturengehäuses und der Feuchtigkeitsdämmfolie ist ein starrer Flansch vorgesehen, an welchem der entsprechend ausgeschnittene Rand der Feuchtigkeitsdämmfolie verklemmt werden kann. Bei dem in Figur 2 der DE-C-32 37 419 dargestellten Ausführungsbeispiel ist der Flansch auf der Außenmantelfläche des Armaturengehäuses axial verschiebbar.Aufgabe der vorliegenden Erfindung ist es, einen Einbaukasten der eingangs genannten Art derart auszugestalten, daß bei unterschiedlichen Dicken der Einbauwand bzw. unterschiedlichen Einbautiefen des Einbaukastens in die Wand eine zuverlässige Abdichtung des Spaltes zwischen dem Zugangsfenster der Einbauwand und den Seitenwänden des Einbaukastens möglich ist.Diese Aufgabe wird erfindungsgemäß dadurch gelöst, daß auf der Außenfläche der Seitenwände des Einbaukastens eine ringförmige Manschette aus elastischem Material angeordnet ist, welche umfaßt:
  • e) einen an den Seitenwänden verschiebbar anliegenden Dichtbereich;
  • f) einen einstückig an den Dichtbereich angeformten Flanschbereich, der sich in der Einbaulage etwa parallel zur Außenfläche der Wand erstreckt und an einer zum Rauminneren zeigenden Komponente, insbesondere einer Verkleidung, der Wand dicht festlegbar ist.

    dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß
    auf der Außenfläche der Seitenwände eine ringförmige Manschette (23) aus elastischem Material angeordnet ist, welche umfaßt:
    e) einen an den Seitenwänden verschiebbar anliegenden Dichtbereich (24); f) einen einstückig an den Dichtbereich (24) angeformten Flanschbereich (25), der sich in der Einbaulage etwa parallel zur Außenfläche der Einbauwand erstreckt und an einer zum Rauminneren zeigenden Komponente, insbesondere der Verkleidung, der Einbauwand dicht festlegbar ist.
