Description

The invention relates to a vertical tape storage for bridging Belt interruptions in continuous belt systems, consisting of one a loop structure forming a loop tower, in which the belt loops around Deflecting rollers at the upper and lower synchronously vertically towards and horizontal roller bridges which can be moved away from one another, the Dead weight of a roller bridge as the counterweight is the dead weight of the balances other roller bridge, one roller bridge each on the Upward run and the other roller bridge each on the downward run vertically deflected common cable drives are articulated, the deflection rollers in the upper and the lower area of the supporting structure are stored.

Vertical tape storage of the type described, which can also be used as a loop tower or Loopers are known to be used in tape systems to maintain the continuous process speed during coil handling, d. H. when changing the coil and / or welding the beginning of the coil to the end of the strip. In you can temporarily store large lengths of tape in that the Loops in which the belt alternates around the upper and lower pulleys of the roller bridges is increased. This happens, for example characterized in that in the case of a fixed lower roller bridge, the upper roller bridge in Support frame is moved upwards, so that between the roller bridges stored tape length increases. To the heavy roller bridge after To move up, it is known to counterweights laterally outside the supporting structure to be arranged by means of ropes or chains over pulleys with the movable Roller bridge are connected and balance their own weight.

However, since the known construction has disadvantages, in particular in the unusually high effort and material costs for balancing the weight movable roller bridge can be seen and because the threading of the tape after a tape break, which is sometimes unavoidable in such systems, very much time and manpower was an improved vertical tape storage suggested. With this belt store, both roller bridges are in the supporting frame synchronously moved towards and away from each other, which Dead weight of a roller bridge serving as counterweight is the dead weight of the compensates for another roller bridge (EP 0761585 A2).

In departure from previous solutions, either the upper or the lower will no longer be Move the roller bridge in the supporting frame, but both roller bridges are used guided synchronously, so that the dead weights of the roller bridges compensate each other. This will reduce the significant cost of the Counterbalance balance, as was required with the known solution, saved what even considering the cost of the second movable Roller bridge means savings in the manufacture of the entire system. About that In addition, the proposed solution achieves another advantage, that of: is seen that the roller bridges compared to the previously known solution with half Speed apart and move together because one Roller bridge on the upward run and the other roller bridge on the downward run common, driven vertically at the same speed deflected rope or chain drives is articulated. With such a halved Drive speeds are also possible for more cost-effective gear designs.

The object of the invention is the generic tape storage in terms of Drive the roller bridges to simplify and design that by Reduction of the drive torque, the pulley diameter and Rope diameter can be reduced and that by the drive design structural simplification of the belt store and its supporting structure is possible, so that a further cost saving is achieved in the manufacture of the system.

To solve the problem, the invention proposes that as a traversing drive a pulley is assigned to each of the two roller bridges, the fixed rollers of which one pulley above the upper pulley and that of the other pulley are arranged below the lower roller bridge on the supporting frame and their associated loose rollers are attached to the respective roller bridge to be moved, and that the ropes of both pulley blocks each form a rope drum in the middle of the supporting frame are led.

The drive of the roller bridges by means of a preferably 12/2 strand Pulley reduces the drive torque significantly, so that a cost-saving Reduction of the entire engine, gearbox and pulley system Systems becomes possible.

In a favorable embodiment it is provided that both rope drums from one common motor can be driven. This further simplifies the drive and cheaper, especially since using pulley blocks only a relatively weak one trained drive motor is required.

Conveniently, it is provided that the drive of the cable drums via Differential gear takes place. By installing a differential gear, one is absolute same load distribution on the pulleys possible, so that none Rope tensioning devices are required.

In another embodiment of the invention it is provided that the cable drums and the drive are arranged on a bracket on the side of the support structure and that the supporting structure is designed as a lattice mast construction in modular construction. The The construction of the supporting structure as a modular lattice mast construction enables Use of standard components. The module structure reduces the assembly time by about half. The arrangement of the cable drums and drives on the console of the The supporting structure also has the advantage that no belt tensile forces and torques in the foundation must be introduced. The power support takes place internally via the Shoring. Particularly noteworthy is the significant weight saving Use of a support structure in lattice construction.

An embodiment of the invention is shown in the drawing and is described below. It shows
Figure 1
the vertical tape storage according to the invention in side view;
Figure 2
seen the schematically illustrated tape storage according to the invention in the tape running direction.

In Figure 1 is roughly schematically the support frame designated 1 of a vertical Tape storage shown. In the support structure 1 is described in later Way an upper roller bridge 3 guided up and down in the vertical direction. Via the downward at 4 on the roller bridge Deflection rollers 5, the band 6 is guided. A second roller bridge 7 is in the lower part of the scaffolding 1 in the vertical direction synchronized with the upper Roller bridge 3 arranged up and down movable and carries, also at 4 erected, the upward lower pulleys 8 for the band 6, the by alternately diverting around the upper pulleys 5 and the lower Deflection rollers 8 is guided in loops within the supporting structure 1.

By appropriate coupling of the upper and lower roller bridge 3 and 4 the own weights of the lower and upper roller bridge balanced so that they practically lift it without the need for additional counterweights.

For this purpose, one ends at each of the roller bridges at 9 attached rope or chain 10 used. The rope or chain 10 is over Guide rollers 11 mounted at the top in the support frame 1, so that at corresponding Dead weights, the roller bridges 3.7 are in equilibrium. When lifting and One roller bridge is lowered by the one guided over the deflection rollers 11 Rope or chain drive 10 ensures that the movements of the roller bridges 3 and 7 take place synchronously, but in opposite directions, the At the same time, the weight balance created no additional counterweights required.

As can be seen better in the schematic drawing figure 2, the drive of the Roller bridges over the pulley blocks 12, whose fixed rollers 13 above the upper one Roller bridge 3 and below the lower roller bridge 7 mounted on the support frame 1 are and their associated loose rollers 14 on the respective to be moved Roller bridge 3, 7 are attached. The ropes 15 of both pulley blocks 12 are each one Rope drum 16 out, along with their drive on a bracket 18 laterally are arranged on the supporting structure 1. Both rope drums 16 are of one common motor 17 drivable, the drive of the cable drums 16 takes place via a Differential gear 19.

As can be seen from Figure 1, the supporting structure is a lattice mast construction in Modular design and made of standardized parts 20a, 20b, 20c the same Composed length.
