Abstract

The lock has an adapter housing (12) with ribs (13-16) forming a central opening for the locking and actuating mechanism. The housing has having openings (3) on a transverse centre line (11) for the dowels fixing the lock housing in place. The adapter housing is fixed to a lock cover (10) and accommodates a pin-cylinder with core and housing, an olive (21,27), or a rosette with ornamental key (37), which are interchangeable. The ribs and grooves (17-20) in the adapter housing serve to guide, insert, fix, turn and/or lock the locking system.
