Unterdruck erzeugenden Vorrichtung kommunizieren. Der
zweite Saugriemen 32 ist beschleunigbar und verzögerbar
und ist beim Auftreffen einer von der Fördereinrichtung
8 abgeworfenen Blechtafel vorzugsweise mit im
wesentlichen der gleichen Geschwindigkeit angetrieben
wie die Fördereinrichtung 8. Die auftreffende Blechtafel
wird gegen den Saugriemen 32 gesaugt und in Richtung
auf den Stapeltisch 12 transportiert. Bei Erreichen
einer Bremsposition wird die Geschwindigkeit des
Saugriemens 32 und der angesaugten Blechtafel durch
eine Steuerung 38 und eine Antriebsvorrichtung 40 des
Saugriemens 32 verringert. Der Saugriemen 32 wird vorzugsweise
erst dann gebremst, wenn die Blechtafel nur
noch mit einem hinteren Bereich auf dem Saugriemen 32
haftet. Während der Verzögerung schiebt sich der vordere
Bereich 42 der nachfolgenden Blechtafel über die
Hinterkante der gebremsten Blechtafel. Dadurch daß die
nachfolgende Tafel aber in einem Abstand oberhalb von
der gebremsten Tafel gehalten ist, kann es nicht zu

- Apparatus according to Claim 1 or 2, characterised in that the braking device (10) is formed from an impinging surface (28) which has at least one intake (34) that may be subjected to negative pressure.
- Apparatus according to Claim 3, characterised in that the impinging surface (28) is a displaceable transporting surface (30).
- Apparatus according to Claim 4, characterised in that the transporting surface (30) is driveable at substantially the first speed, retardable from this speed to a second speed, and accelerable from the second speed to the initial speed.
- Apparatus according to one or more of the preceding claims, characterised in that the intakes (18) or other openings in the region of the transporting device (8) which may be controllably subjected to negative pressure are connectable to a positive-pressure source for ejecting a plate attached by suction.
- Apparatus according to one or more of the preceding claims, characterised by a control device (26) co-operating with position sensors (24) for subjecting the intakes (18) to negative pressure or positive pressure.
- Apparatus according to one or more of the preceding claims, characterised in that a nozzle (48) pointing in the direction of transport and co-operating with a blowing device (46) is provided behind and beneath the impinging surface (28) or braking device (10).
- Apparatus for depositing plate-like products transported on a conveyor at a first speed one after the other and distanced from one another, with a transporting device which is displaceable and driveable at a speed substantially corresponding to the first speed for the uptake and translation of products in the direction of a depositing position and with a braking device, in particular according to one or more of the preceding claims, characterised in that the transporting device is disposed above the conveyor level of the delivered plate-like products and extends in the direction of the depositing position, in that the transporting device for controlled retention of the plate-like products comprises a magnetic arrangement, and in that the braking device (10) is provided beneath the transporting device or conveyor level.
- Apparatus according to Claim 9, characterised in that the magnetic arrangement comprises a controllable electromagnet.
