In bekannter Weise ist an den Geweberändern jeweils eine Einlegevorrichtung vorgesehen, die mit einer Schneidvorrichtung zusammenwirkt und die nach Abschneiden des Schußfadens die Schußfadenenden in ein auf ein Webfach folgendes Webfach pneumatisch einlegt. Einlegevorrichtungen an Webmaschinen sind hinlänglich bekannt und dienen dazu, nach Eintrag des Schußfadens in das Webfach die freien Schußfadenenden in das darauf folgende Webfach einzulegen. Dies wird vielfach dadurch gelöst, daß das Schußfadenende vom Luftstrom einer Blasdüse erfaßt wird und in das geöffnete nachfolgende Webfach zurück geblasen wird. Dadurch bildet sich an den Geweberändern eine sogenannte Einlegekante, wobei in diesem Bereich das Gewebe etwa die doppelte Stärke aufweist.
