Abstract

The connector has a metallic transverse strip (3), and flat plugs (4a,4b) connected to it. The plugs have contact zones (5) for plug connection with the current rails of the series of clamps. The metallic transverse connector (3) and the flat plugs (4a,4b) are formed as double layers. The connector has a set of transverse connector members (1,2). At least one end of the flat plugs (4a,4b) and the transverse strip region, the connector members (1,2) are formed as a single layer. The single layer regions of the two transverse connector members (1,2) are adapted to be set one on top of the other, in contact. The connector members (1,2) may have two end pieces each with a single layer end, and an intermediate piece.
