Une cheville (64) montée sur la visière (14) s'accouple avec un élément de verrouillage (40) situé sur l'adaptateur (24), l'accouplement de verrouillage étant manuellement libérable afin de permettre de soulever par pivotement la visière (14) sur le front et le haut du casque (12). Cette visière (14) comprend également un élément de réglage (102) lui permettant d'adopter différentes positions par rapport au casque (12). Une mentonnière (98) est fixée de manière articulée sur la partie inférieure de la visière (14).
