Apparatus for the steam treatment and hot-air treatment of articles of clothing (4) hanging on a conveyor by means of clothes-hangers, in a housing (2), into which the articles of clothing are introduced through an entry lock (10), and out of which the articles of clothing are discharged through an exit lock (12), in which apparatus there is provided in the housing, downstream of the entry lock in the conveying direction, a steam-treatment portion (24) having steam-outlet nozzles (26) directed onto the articles of clothing on both sides of the conveying path (8), and in which apparatus there is provided, downstream of the steam-treatment portion (24) in the conveying direction, a hot-air treatment portion (28) having at least one inlet orifice (30) introducing hot air into the housing and at least one outlet orifice (32) discharging hot air out of the housing, the said inlet orifice and the said outlet orifice belonging to a circulation system, characterised in that the steam-treatment portion merges into the hot-air treatment portion directly, without an intermediate lock or the like, and there is provided in a transitional region of the two portions at least one suction orifice (44) of at least one branch conduit (46) opening into the circulation system. <IMAGE>

Description

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Vorrichtung zur Dampfbehandlung und Heißluftbehandlung von mittels Kleiderbügeln an einem Förderer hängenden Kleidungsstücken in einem Gehäuse, in das die Kleidungsstücke durch eine Eintrittsschleuse eingeführt und aus dem die Kleidungsstücke durch eine Austrittsschleuse abgeführt werden, bei der in dem Gehäuse in Förderrichtung hinter der Eintrittsschleuse ein Dampfbehandlungsabschnitt mit beidseitig des Förderwegs auf die Kleidungsstücke gerichteten Dampfaustrittsdüsen vorgesehen ist und bei der in Förderrichtung hinter den Dampfbehandlungsabschnitt ein Heißluftbehandlungsabschnitt mit wenigstens einer Heißluft in das Gehäuse einführenden Einlaßöffnung und wenigstens einer Heißluft aus dem Gehäuse abführenden Auslaßöffnung eines Kreislaufsystems vorgesehen ist.The invention relates to a device for steam treatment and hot air treatment of clothes hanging on a conveyor by means of hangers in a housing, into which the clothes are inserted through an entry lock and from which the clothes are discharged through an exit lock, in which in the housing in the conveying direction behind the entry lock a steam treatment section is provided with steam outlet nozzles directed onto the garments on both sides of the conveyor and in which a hot air treatment section with at least one hot air inlet opening into the housing and at least one outlet of a circulatory system discharging hot air from the housing is provided behind the steam treatment section in the conveying direction.

Die Vorrichtung nach dem Ausführungsbeispiel weist ein Gehäuse 2 auf, in das Kleidungsstücke 4, die an Kleiderbügeln 6 hängen, mittels eines Förderers 8 durch eine Eintrittsschleuse 10 einzuführen sind und aus dem die Kleidungsstücke 4 entsprechend durch eine Austrittsschleuse 12 abzuführen sind. Diese Dampfaustrittsdüsen 26 sind im vorliegenden Ausführungsbeispiel in je einer Reihe auf jeder Seite des Förderwegs der Kleidungsstücke 4 übereinander angeordnet. In Förderrichtung der Kleidungsstücke 4 hinter dem Dampfbehandlungsabschnitt 24 befindet sich ein Heißluftbehandlungsabschnitt 28 mit einer Heißluft in einem oberen Bereich des Gehäuses 2 einführenden Einlaßöffnung 30 und einer Heißluft aus dem Gehäuse 2 abführenden Auslaßöffnung 32 eines Kreislaufsystems 34 mit einem Abschnitt 36, in dem in Strömungsrichtung hintereinander eine Heizvorrichtung 38 und ein von einem Motor 40 anzutreibendes Gebläse 42 angeordnet sind. Der Dampfbehandlungsabschnitt 24 geht - ohne eine Zwischenschleuse oder dergleichen - unmittelbar in den Heißluftbehandlungsabschnitt 28 über. In einem Übergangsbereich beider Abschnitte 24, 28 ist eine Ansaugöffnung 44 einer in dem Kreislaufsystem 34 im Bereich der Heizvorrichtung 38 mündenden Zweigleitung 46 vorgesehen. Die Ansaugöffnung 44 liegt im oberen Bereich des Gehäuses 2 und ist nach unten gerichtet. An die Zweigleitung 46 ist eine Abführungsleitung 48 angesetzt. Claims (4)

Vorrichtung zur Dampfbehandlung und Heißluftbehandlung von mittels Kleiderbügeln (6) an einem Förderer (8) hängenden Kleidungsstücken (4) in einem Gehäuse (2), in das die Kleidungsstücke (4) durch eine Eintrittsschleuse (10) eingeführt und aus dem die Kleidungsstücke (4) durch eine Austrittsschleuse (12) abgeführt werden, bei der in dem Gehäuse (2) in Förderrichtung hinter der Eintrittsschleuse (10) ein Dampfbehandlungsabschnitt (24) mit beidseitig des Förderwegs auf die Kleidungsstücke (4) gerichteten Dampfaustrittsdüsen (26) vorgesehen ist und bei der in Förderrichtung hinter den Dampfbehandlungsabschnitt (24) ein Heißluftbehandlungsabschnitt (28) mit wenigstens einer Heißluft in das Gehäuse (2) einführenden Einlaßöffnung (30) und wenigstens einer Heißluft aus dem Gehäuse (2) abführenden Auslaßöffnung (32) eines Kreislaufsystems (34) vorgesehen ist,
dadurch gekennzeichnet,
daß der Dampfbehandlungsabschnitt (24) unmittelbar - ohne eine Zwischenschleuse o. dgl. - in den Heißluftbehandlungsabschnitt (28) übergeht und in einem Übergangsbereich beider Abschnitte (24, 28) wenigstens eine Ansaugöffnung (44) wenigstens einer in dem Kreislaufsystem (34) mündenden Zweigleitung (46) vorgesehen ist.
