Abstract

The pumping set comprises a drive motor to which is coupled a fluid ring pump (5). At least beneath the shaft height of the pump extends a prodn. container (1) connected beyond the pumping set as a flow unit. The outlet connection (14) of the ring pump is connected with an inlet (7) of the prodn. container, which furthermore is provided with an outlet aperture (8) forming the outlet of the pumping set. The cross-section of the prodn. container has the shape of an upright L or U.
