  2. A female electrical contact element according to Claim 1, characterised in that each catch (6a, 7a) ends in a bevelled end and its length is such that it can not protrude at the outer lateral surface of the corresponding blade terminal (5, 8).
  3. A female electrical contact element according to Claim 1, characterised in that the free ends of the blade terminals (5, 8) end in flaps (5b, 8b) bent in order to extend between the contact bars (6, 7) in order to mask the catches (6a, 7a).
  4. A female electrical contact element according to Claim 1, characterised in that the blade terminals (5, 8) each comprise, in the vicinity of their end opposite to their free end, a swaged part (27, 30) bearing against a corresponding swaged part (28, 29) of the wings (1b, 1c).
  5. A female electrical contact element according to Claim 1, characterised in that in the vicinity of its free end and on the side of its face turned facing the other, each contact bar is provided with a dimple (26).
  6. A female electrical contact element according to Claim 1, characterised in that the free ends of the blade terminals (5, 8) are brought slightly closer to one another than the ends opposite said free ends.
