Definitions
- the invention relates to a connecting device for at least two adjacent beams, in particular for beam constructions of prefabricated houses or the like. According to the preamble of claim 1.
- Such a connecting device is known from DE-A-1429696.
- the inventor has set himself the goal of designing a connecting device or a fitting of the type mentioned at the outset in such a way that it is not visible when the beam construction is finished and, moreover, is simple to manufacture and can be installed without problems.
- This pair of fittings thus consists on the one hand of the tubular insert with its locking bar made of flat material which can be slid therein, and on the other hand of the screw (s) provided in the other bar, the head of which is inserted into the tubular insert through its recess / s and there with the locking bar a closed position can be transferred, in which the adjacent beam surfaces lie firmly against one another.
- the cross-sectionally flat tube side of the tubular insert with the recesses is aligned with an outer surface of one beam, preferably with an end face, and the screws protrude from an outer surface of the adjacent beam.
- the parts of the fitting pairing are thus separated from one another before the beams are joined and are then joined together in the manner described.
- the cross-section of the tubular insert which is preferably made of steel or the like, can have any cross-section, apart from the plane of the pipe side to be created, but is preferably made of a square tube and sits in a corresponding cut in a beam.
- the square shape allows a particularly simple production of this incision by means of woodworking devices known per se.
- a fin-like approach which additionally projects from one side of the insert for stabilization and is inserted into a saw cut of the beam and fixed there.
- This fin or plate-like approach preferably runs in the cross-sectional axis of the insert, in which the recesses for the insertion of the Screws are provided.
- the saw cut provided is perpendicular to the contact surface of the beam and can therefore be easily introduced, possibly with a partially circular contour, which should then adapt to the outer edge of the fin attachment.
- This approach can therefore be rectangular in side view as well as with a partially curved contour.
- the locking bar already described which can also be referred to as a locking tongue, advantageously has at least one keyhole-like opening from the elongated hole section mentioned above and a round hole adjacent to this, the diameter of the latter being larger than that of the screw head to be passed through.
- the cantilever of the screw shaft of the screw which results from the distance between the inside of the screw head on the one hand and the inner surface of the square tube piece on the other hand, should be less than the parallel thickness of the locking bar, which is also on both sides of its elongated hole section with it in an insertion direction cross-sectional tapered - wedge surfaces is provided; these engage behind the screw head in the locking position of the fitting pair. It is clear that the increasing penetration of the locking bar in the direction of insertion due to the wedge surface cross-sections then gradually widening behind the screw head results in a more and more tense application of the two beam surfaces to one another.
- a continuous beam 10 is firmly connected to another beam 12, which nestles against the continuous beam 10 with its end face 14, by means of a connecting fitting 16.
- the connecting fitting 16 has a square tube piece 18 with the inside width a of, for example, 35 mm and a height h of here 160 mm, to which a metal plate 22 provided with screw holes 20 is welded fin-like in the center line M.
- the square tube piece 18 is inserted into a corresponding groove 24 in the bar end face 14 and the metal plate 22 in a subsequent saw slot 26 of the bar 12.
- the metal plate 22 is also screwed at 20 in the beam 12.
- the outer surface 28 of those is aligned Metal plate 22 remote tube side 32 with round bores 30 with the beam end 14.
- the round bores 30 are penetrated by screws 34 or their screw shank 35, which protrude from a side surface of the adjacent beam 10, the distance q between the inside of the screw head 36 and the inside surface 29 of that tube side 32 being less than the thickness i of a locking bar 40 , with which the square tube piece 18 is clamped behind the screw heads 36.
- the locking bar 40 is provided with keyhole-like recesses 42 from a round hole 43 and then an elongated hole section 44, the diameter d of the round hole 43 roughly corresponding to the diameter s of the round bore 30 of the tube side 32 and being greater than the diameter e of the screw head 36, so that a square tube piece 18 and locking bar 40 can be easily pushed over the screw head 36.
- the clear width n of the elongated hole section 44 is in turn smaller than the diameter e of the screw head 36, which is therefore engaged by the locking bar in this area.
- a wedge surface 46 (FIG. 4) that widens upwards begins in the locking bar 40, the lower and upper limits of which are designated 47 and 48, respectively. It can be seen that the lower limit 47, which defines a shoulder-like step 50 of the locking bar 40, runs in the upper third of the round bore 43.
- the wedge surface 46 engages behind the screw head 36 on both sides of the elongated hole section 44 of the screw shaft 35 projecting to a degree t beyond the inner surface 29 of the square tube piece 18 and increasingly presses the square tube side 32 against the adjacent beam 10.

Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a connecting device for at least two adjacent beams, in particular for beam constructions of prefabricated houses or the like. According to the preamble of claim 1.
Eine derartige Verbindungsvorrichtung ist aus DE-A-1429696 bekannt.Such a connecting device is known from DE-A-1429696.
Beams of beam constructions made of wood or the like. Material are often screwed together or connected by metal brackets, which - for example as an angle piece - are screwed to the adjacent beams or nailed to them. In all cases, undesired fittings remain on the visible surfaces of the beams that are connected to one another.
Knowing this state of the art, the inventor has set himself the goal of designing a connecting device or a fitting of the type mentioned at the outset in such a way that it is not visible when the beam construction is finished and, moreover, is simple to manufacture and can be installed without problems.
The solution to this problem is specified in the characterizing part of claim 1.
This pair of fittings thus consists on the one hand of the tubular insert with its locking bar made of flat material which can be slid therein, and on the other hand of the screw (s) provided in the other bar, the head of which is inserted into the tubular insert through its recess / s and there with the locking bar a closed position can be transferred, in which the adjacent beam surfaces lie firmly against one another.
The cross-sectionally flat tube side of the tubular insert with the recesses is aligned with an outer surface of one beam, preferably with an end face, and the screws protrude from an outer surface of the adjacent beam. The parts of the fitting pairing are thus separated from one another before the beams are joined and are then joined together in the manner described.
The cross-section of the tubular insert, which is preferably made of steel or the like, can have any cross-section, apart from the plane of the pipe side to be created, but is preferably made of a square tube and sits in a corresponding cut in a beam. The square shape allows a particularly simple production of this incision by means of woodworking devices known per se. The same applies to a fin-like approach, which additionally projects from one side of the insert for stabilization and is inserted into a saw cut of the beam and fixed there. This fin or plate-like approach preferably runs in the cross-sectional axis of the insert, in which the recesses for the insertion of the Screws are provided. Thanks to this requirement, the saw cut provided is perpendicular to the contact surface of the beam and can therefore be easily introduced, possibly with a partially circular contour, which should then adapt to the outer edge of the fin attachment. This approach can therefore be rectangular in side view as well as with a partially curved contour.
The locking bar already described, which can also be referred to as a locking tongue, advantageously has at least one keyhole-like opening from the elongated hole section mentioned above and a round hole adjacent to this, the diameter of the latter being larger than that of the screw head to be passed through. In addition, the cantilever of the screw shaft of the screw, which results from the distance between the inside of the screw head on the one hand and the inner surface of the square tube piece on the other hand, should be less than the parallel thickness of the locking bar, which is also on both sides of its elongated hole section with it in an insertion direction cross-sectional tapered - wedge surfaces is provided; these engage behind the screw head in the locking position of the fitting pair. It is clear that the increasing penetration of the locking bar in the direction of insertion due to the wedge surface cross-sections then gradually widening behind the screw head results in a more and more tense application of the two beam surfaces to one another.

Figure 6 shows different positions of enlarged compared to Figure 3 fittings in longitudinal section.
According to FIG. 1, a
The
The
In the area of its
It can be seen that a very firm locking is created here in a simple manner.
