Claims (6)

  1. Radial fan having an impeller (3 or 4) which is driven by an internal-rotor electric motor (1), having a principal air stream, which is delivered by the internal rotor by way of a radially outer radial-fan blade ring (32 or 42), and a secondary air stream which is delivered by way of axial fan blades, designed as spokes between a hub (31 or 41) on the rotor shaft and the radial-fan blade ring (32 or 42), and is intended for cooling the internal-rotor electric motor (1), the spokes being designed as diagonal axial fan blades (34) which take in the secondary air flow via or through the axially downstream electric motor (1) and then feed it to the blade ring (32).
  2. Radial fan according to Claim 1, the spokes being designed, in a radially inner spoke region, as axial fan blades (44) which force the secondary air stream through the axially downstream electric motor (1) and, in a radially outer spoke region, as outer diagonal axial fan blades (45) which take in the secondary air stream in a return-air duct via the electric motor (1) and then feed it to the blade ring (42).
  3. Radial fan according to Claim 2, an essentially axially extending cylindrical partition wall (46) being provided between the radially inner axial fan blades (44), on the one hand, and the radially outer diagonal axial fan blades (45), on the other hand.
  4. Radial fan according to Claim 3, the cylindrical partition wall (46) being connected, as a single-piece constituent part, to the inner axial fan blades (44) and to the outer diagonal axial fan blades (45).
  5. Radial fan according to Claim 3 or 4, the cylindrical partition wall (46) projecting, by a slight axial extent, beyond the outer contour of the intermediate piece between the hub (41) and the blade ring (42), in the region of the transition from the axial fan blades (44) to the diagonal fan blades (45), with the effect of avoiding air short circuits between the principal air stream, on the one hand, and the secondary air stream, on the other hand.
  6. Radial fan according to one of Claims 1-5, the hub, the spokes, the blade ring and, if appropriate, the cylindrical partition wall each being a constituent part of a single-piece injection-moulded part, in particular of a plastic injection-moulded part.
