Definitions
- the invention relates to a film web consisting of foldable material, preferably paper or cardboard, for the continuous packaging of a packaged product, preferably a liquid, according to the preamble of claim 1.
- a film web according to the preamble of claim 1 is known from BE-A-658 317.
- the object of the invention is to improve the film web known from BE-A-658 317 for the continuous packaging of a product to be packaged, preferably a liquid.
- the center longitudinal fold is shorter than the distance between the third and fourth transverse folds. Furthermore, the other transverse folds are designed as oblique folds. The oblique folds running at an angle to the other folds make it possible to avoid leakage channels in the area of the gable tip of the finished container.
- the film web is folded at the four continuous longitudinal folds running parallel to the longitudinal edges, so that a continuous film tube with a rectangular cross section is formed.
- the four rectangles adjoining one another in the transverse direction are then folded so that they form the intermediate regions between two container regions.
- the fold within these four adjoining rectangles are designed in such a way that two opposing container roof regions adjoining the associated container regions and an intermediate container closure region is formed.
- the film web preferably consists of a first layer of foldable material, preferably paper or cardboard, and of a second layer of a material that is compatible with the packaged goods, preferably a liquid, preferably aluminum or plastic.
- the first layer is on the outside of the finished container, the second layer on the inside. The second layer accordingly comes into contact with the contents of the container, that is to say with the packaged goods, preferably a liquid.
- the first layer preferably ends in the region of a longitudinal edge of the film web at a distance from this longitudinal edge and the second layer is turned over in this region. If the film web is connected to form a film tube with a rectangular cross-section at its parallel longitudinal edges, this configuration ensures that the container contents only come into contact with the second layer intended for this purpose, but not with the first layer.
- first layer 2 of foldable material for example paper or cardboard
- second layer 1 of a material compatible with the liquid to be packaged for example aluminum or plastic.
- first layer 2 ends at a distance from this longitudinal edge. This The area is designated by 3 in FIG. 1. It is possible that a thin residual layer of foldable material is also present in this area 3; this is shown in Fig. 1.

Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a film web consisting of foldable material, preferably paper or cardboard, for the continuous packaging of a packaged product, preferably a liquid, according to the preamble of
Up to now it has been known to pack a product to be packaged, preferably a liquid, into prefabricated containers. However, there is a need to be able to continuously package a product, in particular a liquid. For this purpose, it is necessary to continuously form the containers from a continuous film web and then to separate them.
A film web according to the preamble of
From US-A-2 079 875 a blank for a container is known in which the further transverse folds are designed as oblique folds. However, the cut is only used to produce a single container. It is not a continuous film web for the continuous packaging of a product or liquid.
The object of the invention is to improve the film web known from BE-A-658 317 for the continuous packaging of a product to be packaged, preferably a liquid.
According to the invention this object is achieved by the features specified in the characterizing part of
To form a container or a continuous container chain, the film web is folded at the four continuous longitudinal folds running parallel to the longitudinal edges, so that a continuous film tube with a rectangular cross section is formed. The four rectangles adjoining one another in the transverse direction are then folded so that they form the intermediate regions between two container regions. The fold within these four adjoining rectangles are designed in such a way that two opposing container roof regions adjoining the associated container regions and an intermediate container closure region is formed.
Advantageous further developments are described in the subclaims. The film web preferably consists of a first layer of foldable material, preferably paper or cardboard, and of a second layer of a material that is compatible with the packaged goods, preferably a liquid, preferably aluminum or plastic. The first layer is on the outside of the finished container, the second layer on the inside. The second layer accordingly comes into contact with the contents of the container, that is to say with the packaged goods, preferably a liquid.
The first layer preferably ends in the region of a longitudinal edge of the film web at a distance from this longitudinal edge and the second layer is turned over in this region. If the film web is connected to form a film tube with a rectangular cross-section at its parallel longitudinal edges, this configuration ensures that the container contents only come into contact with the second layer intended for this purpose, but not with the first layer.

In den ersten Rechtecken sind querverlaufende Verstärkungsfalze 17 angeordnet.5 shows the film web in a view from above. The lines within the film web represent folds.
Die Fig. 8 zeigt eine der Fig. 7 entsprechende Darstellung, in der die Zwischenbereiche miteinander verschweißt sind.FIG. 8 shows a representation corresponding to FIG. 7, in which the intermediate areas are welded together.
As a result, the individual container shown in FIG. 10 can be produced. The container shown in Fig. 10 is completely cuboid because its roof areas are folded and welded.
In FIG. 11, only the lower end area is welded to form a floor standing area. The upper end area is still roof-shaped; in this way an attractive appearance is achieved; furthermore, the container shown in FIG. 11 is easy to grasp by hand.
Die Fig. 12 zeigt eine der Fig. 10 entsprechende Darstellung.FIG. 12 shows a representation corresponding to FIG. 10.
