Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a septic tank intended for the treatment of waste water in particular for individual houses and relates more particularly to a tank with incorporated liquid collector.
We know that septic tanks, whether synthetic material obtained by molding or masonry, are intended to recover degradable materials but often also domestic water from the flows of sinks, sinks, machines etc ..., because it is obviously simpler to provide next to a house, a flow collector. Until now, an inlet duct for degradable materials has generally been provided at one end of the pit and an outlet to the spreading zone at the opposite end so that decantation, fermentation of degradable organic materials, and the sludge flotation is carried out correctly, in a known manner, inside the pit. In the case where the pit must also recover the wastewater, it should be conveyed to the inlet pipe for degradable materials or directly to the tank, from a wastewater collector located further away, which represents additional work.
It appeared to the Applicant that it was much easier to incorporate into the prefabricated septic tank, a single collector serving as well for collecting degradable materials as waste water, which can be visited with a single look and which therefore avoids the drawbacks specific to known solutions. This integration is all the more interesting as it goes hand in hand with the neighboring incorporation of an anti-clogging prefilter system by interchangeable cartridge as described in FR-A 2 610 653. This thus provides a monobloc tank able to receive directly, all fluid inlet pipes, coming from all directions.
This is why a main object of the present invention consists of a septic tank comprising at least one inlet duct for degradable materials and one outlet duct in the direction of spreading, as well as at least one closable upper opening capable of form an inspection opening, a pit which also incorporates a single collecting manhole for collecting degradable materials through an inlet duct, as well as waste water through a plurality of inlet orifices provided on said manhole, the latter communicating with the tank of the pit by a weir.
For this purpose, the upper part of the tank has two circular openings, one of which is adapted to receive the single collecting sight and the other a bowl serving as support for an interchangeable prefilter cartridge, and advantageously the two openings are of the same diameter for receive either the manifold or the pre-filter cartridge bowl.
According to another particular characteristic of the invention, the inlet orifices for the wastewater, provided in the single collecting manhole, are of variable diameters and distributed over the height and the periphery of said manhole.
- Figure 1 une vue en coupe verticale longitudinale de la fosse ;
- Figure 1 a longitudinal vertical sectional view of the pit;
- Figure 2 an elevational view of one end.
The fluids admitted into the
The septic tank with incorporated collecting manifold greatly facilitates the task of the installer who does not have to worry about creating a separate collector. The connections are all the easier when the gaze, like the inspection well of the prefilter, is flush with the ground. To make the fabrication of the pit easier, it is possible to provide openings of the same diameter, placed symmetrically, one or the other being pre-equipped in the factory, or equipped on site, to receive either the collecting manhole and the system to prefilter. When the tank is in place, the connection of the inlet pipes of fluid with incorporated look, is very easily done by the local installer.
The tank may or may not be equipped with the prefilter system and, in the absence of the prefilter, only one of the two openings is used for mounting the collecting manifold, the other remaining closed.
