Abstract

A spreading device, consisting of an essentially vertical downpipe (3), on the lower end portion of which a motor-driven spreading plate (16) with a vertical axis of rotation (17) is arranged at the rear eccentric relative to the downpipe axis (31). To reduce or prevent the danger of damage or even destruction of the spreading device when it butts against an obstacle during reverse travel, the downpipe (3) is subdivided in its upper half into two mutually coaxial pipe parts (4, 5) which engage at least slightly in one another and which are thus connected to one another by means of a horizontal joint (6) and by means of a spring element (12). The lower pipe part (5) is resiliently pivotable in the direction of forward travel together with the spreading plate (16), and a signal transmitter (30) for acoustic and/or optical signals, which reacts during the pivoting of the lower pipe part (5), is arranged on one of the two pipe parts (4, 5). <IMAGE>

Description

The invention relates to a spreader for a winter service spreader placed or attachable to a spreader vehicle, consisting of an essentially vertical downpipe, at the lower end portion of which a motor-driven spreader plate with a vertical axis of rotation is arranged eccentrically to the downpipe axis.

In known devices of the generic type, the downpipe forms a rigid unit with the scatter plate arranged eccentrically thereon. When maneuvering with the spreading vehicle, it often happens that when driving backwards, especially on unknown terrain, the spreading device is damaged or even destroyed by obstacles that cannot be seen directly.

The invention is therefore based on the object to provide a winter service spreader of the type mentioned, in which the risk of damage or even destruction when unintentionally bumping into an obstacle is largely avoided.

This object is achieved according to the invention in that the downpipe is divided in its upper half into two mutually coaxial, at least slightly interlocking pipe parts, which are connected by a horizontal joint and by one or more spring elements so that the lower pipe part with the spreading disc in Forward driving direction is resiliently pivotable and that on one of the two tube parts a responsive when pivoting the lower tube part signal transmitter for acoustic and / or optical signals is arranged.

The arrangement of the joint in the upper region of the downpipe is particularly advantageous because the most outstanding, particularly sensitive spreading disc can deflect the most when it hits an obstacle by pivoting.

Claims 2 to 5 relate to further advantageous structural and functional configurations of the Invention that contribute to a high level of functional reliability and inexpensive construction.
This includes, among other things, the arrangement of the signal transmitter with respect to the joint on the rigidly remaining upper part of the downpipe, insofar as a reliable response of the signal transmitter is guaranteed even with a relatively small swiveling movement of the spreading plate and an optical and / or acoustic signal in the driver's cab can be given which Vehicle drivers prompted to take appropriate countermeasures.

In the spreading device 1 shown in Fig. 1, which is part of a winter service spreading device, which is placed on the loading platform of a winter service spreading vehicle, not shown, is on a horizontally extending conveyor pipe 2, only partially shown in the drawing, in which a not shown Screw conveyor is mounted as an endless conveyor, a downpipe 3 with an essentially vertical downpipe axis 31 is attached. This downpipe 3 consists of a vertical upper tube part 4 and a largely slightly obliquely rearward lower tube part 5, both of which are interconnected at the height of a joint 6. The upper pipe part 4 is provided at its lower end with a circumferential flange ring 7, on which the joint 6 is arranged on the side of the down pipe 3 lying in the direction of travel of the arrow 39. On the diametrically opposite rear side of the downpipe, the flange ring 7 is provided with support tabs 8.
In an analogous manner, the upper end section of the lower tubular part 5 is also provided with a flange ring 9, which is connected on the one hand by the joint 6 to the flange ring 7 and on the opposite rear side, where the support straps 8 are arranged, with two downwards Support arms 10, 11 is provided, which are arranged symmetrically outside the lower tubular part.
Between the support arms 10, 11 and the support brackets 8 gas pressure springs 12 are arranged, the cylinders 13 of which are each articulated to the lower end of a support arm and the piston rods 14 are connected by joints 15 to the support brackets 8. Here is the Restoring force of the two gas pressure springs 12 so strong that they are able to hold the lower tube part 5 with respect to the upper tube part 4 in the working position shown in Fig. 1, in which the lower end of the upper tube part 5 at least slightly in that protrudes the upper end of the lower pipe part 5 and the grit is thus guided loss-free through the entire downpipe 3 or directed downwards.

A spreading disc 16 is rotatably mounted about a vertical axis 17 by means of a shaft 18 in a bearing device 19 and can be driven in rotation by a hydraulic motor 20. The bearing device 20 is fastened by means of a support bracket 21 to a mounting plate 22, which in turn is welded to the rear at the lower cut end section 23 of the tubular part 5. The lower end section 23 of the tubular part 5 is also provided with an adjustable chute 24, via which the scattering material falling through the downpipe 3 is directed in a point-like manner onto the upper side of the spreading plate 16 provided with throwing vanes 25. Immediately above the throwing blades 25 of the spreading plate 16 is a circumferential, conical cover 26, which has approximately the same outer diameter as the spreading plate 16, but which is provided with a circumferential, stable protective ring 27, which is approximately 20-30 cm has a larger diameter. Above the protective ring 27 there is a protective bracket 28 attached to the bearing device 19, which like the protective ring 27 has the task of preventing the protective hood 26 or the spreading disc 16 from being inadvertently hit by any obstacles 29 when the spreading vehicle is reversing (FIG. 2). bump and get damaged. To ensure this, the protective bracket 28 also protrudes radially beyond the circumference of the spreading plate or the protective hood 26.

The joint 6 thus ensures that the lower tube part 5 with the spreading plate 16 can be pivoted against the holding action of the gas pressure springs 12 against the holding action of the gas pressure springs 12 during the backward travel of the spreading vehicle when it encounters an obstacle 29 about the axis of the joint 6 to the rear of the vehicle which is shown in Fig. 2. On the one hand, the protective ring 27 and / or on the other hand the protective bracket 28 prevent the protective hood 26 or the spreading disc 16 from coming into direct contact with the obstacle 29, and also prevent the downpipe 3 from bending.

However, to ensure at the same time that the vehicle driver in the front of the Vehicle's cab also notices that he has encountered an obstacle 29 when reversing with the spreading device, a signal transmitter 30, for example in the form of a contact switch is provided, which is arranged in the region of the support tabs 8 and the support arms 10, 11 so that at a pivoting of the lower pipe part 5 relative to the upper pipe part 4, an acoustic and / or optical signal is generated in the cab. Such signals can be generated by means known per se.
Instead of the support arms 9, 10 attached directly to the flange ring 9, a clamp-like support element could also be provided at a corresponding height on the tubular part 5 with support bearings for attaching the lower gas spring ends.
It is also possible to use other spring elements, for example helical compression or tension springs, instead of the gas pressure springs 12.
The arrangement of the signal transmitter 30 in the specified area also ensures that a corresponding signal is triggered in the driver's cab relative to the upper tube part 4, even with the slightest pivoting movement of the lower tube part 16, which causes the vehicle driver to stop or to drive forward again prompted.

Es ist wichtig, daß dieses Verlagern des Fallrohres 3 in seine Ruheposition durch das Gelenk 6 nicht beeinträchtigt wird und daß die von diesem Schwenklager 41 bestimmte Arbeitsposition des Fallrohres 3 bzw. des oberen Rohrteiles 4 erhalten bleibt.1 and 2 is on the upper tube part 4 with A swivel bearing 41, which is also provided with a horizontal joint axis 40, can be pivoted through which the upper pipe part 4 and thus the entire down pipe 3 can be swiveled upward by approximately 180 ° into a rest position, which is preferable for long journeys when empty. It is important that this shifting of the down pipe 3 into its rest position is not impaired by the joint 6 and that the working position of the down pipe 3 or of the upper pipe part 4 determined by this pivot bearing 41 is retained.
