Abstract

1. Guiding means for use in a continuous casting plant <??>2.1 In the case of known guiding means, the setting of different strand thicknesses is associated with disadvantages such as complicated manipulation and susceptibility to faults of the device which permits this setting. <??>2.2 The frame parts (7 and 9) are supported one above the other by supporting (26) and countersupporting devices (27), which are equipped with supporting faces in different vertical positions and with countersupporting faces.
