Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a grinding machine with a grinding unit arranged on the machine bed, the position of which can be changed by turning and / or moving such that the grinding spindle required in each case can be effective for various grinding operations.
A wide variety of grinding units having grinding spindles are known. A complicated construction is described for example in DE-PS 31 33 488. The grinding unit is rotatable about a first vertical axis and adjustable about a second horizontal axis. Three different grinding wheels can be brought into engagement with the workpiece.
In order to be able to carry out all grinding processes automatically in a workpiece clamping under program control, such grinding units with several grinding wheels are used. For an automatic program-controlled production process, the workpiece feed and removal is also important. Devices for this purpose are already known which have a rotary table which receives the raw workpiece in one rotary position, brings the workpiece into grinding positions in the next rotary position and removes the finished ground workpiece in a further rotary position.
The principle of such a workpiece feed and removal device is described in DE-PS 2907 282. If you want to equip a grinding machine with a grinding unit as well as with a workpiece feed and removal, this requires considerable effort. It is also difficult to place all the necessary machine parts with the associated control elements in a spatially sensible manner. DE-A-820 519 describes a turret lathe which has a turret head on which both a plurality of machining tools and loading and unloading devices are arranged. The loading and unloading devices consist of two separate stations, which are stationary next to each other over the circumference of the turret, like the processing stations. Because of this arrangement and the necessary movement of the relatively large mass of the entire turret, the movement sequences allow a minimum time for one working cycle.
The invention has for its object to provide a simply constructed workpiece feed and removal device and to design such that the movement of machine elements in the machining area of the machine tool, which is required anyway, and thus also the drive means already present, can be used directly and in a very short cycle time for the workpiece change .
To achieve this object, the features specified in
Instead of one of the grinding spindles, a workpiece feed and removal device is mounted on the grinding head, which consists of a turntable with several (at least two) workpiece receivers distributed over the circumference.
In the drawing, the invention is shown schematically using exemplary embodiments.

- Fig. 4
- a grinding spindle is replaced by a workpiece loading unit.
Die Figuren 3 und 4 zeigen ein anderes Ausführungsbeispiel.1 and 2 is a grinding unit which has the four

Figures 3 and 4 show another embodiment.
The
Here, too, the grinding unit is sensibly combined with a workpiece loading device in such a way that the existing control elements are optimally used for both functions.
