Abstract
Verfahren zur Herstellung pulvermetallurgischer Gegen stände, insbesondere langgestreckter Gegenstände, wie Stangen, Profile, Rohre od. dgl., bei dem Pulver aus Metall und/oder Metallegierungen hoher Härte, insbeson dere Werkzeugstahl- oder Schnellstahlpulver, in eine dünnwandige Kapsel eingefüllt, die Kapsel anschließend luftdicht verschlossen, erwärmt und unter Herstellung eines Rohlings isostatisch verpreßt wird, der dann zum Endprodukt warmverformt, insbesondere stranggepreßt wird. Bei einer ersten Alternative wird die luftdicht verschlossene Kapsel zunächst auf eine Temperatur von über 1000 °C erwärmt. Nach vollständiger Durchwärmung der Kapsel wird diese für eine längere Zeit bei erhöhter Temperatur gehalten. Anschließend erfolgt eine langsame Abkühlung der Kapsel, um vor der Endverformung kaltiso statisch verpreßt zu werden. Alternativ wird die Kapsel nach dem luftdichten Verschließen zunächst kaltisosta tisch verpreßt. Anschließend wird der Preßrohling auf eine Temperatur von über 1000 °C erwärmt. Nach vollstän diger Durchwärmung des Preßrohlings wird dieser für eine längere Zeit bei erhöhter Temperatur gehalten, um dann entweder unmittelbar oder nach vorheriger Abkühlung warmverformt, insbesondere stranggepreßt zu werden.
