Abstract

Ein Sportschuh (1) besitzt einen hohen Schaft (2) aus weicherem Material und einen die Ferse umschließenden, beidseitig bis in den Mittelfußbereich vorragenden Versteifungseinsatz (3) aus härterem Material. Um dabei die von der jeweiligen Sportart abhängigen Bewegungs- und Stützverhältnisse berücksichtigen zu können, gibt es immer mehr an ganz bestimmte Sportzweige, Bewegungstechniken u. dgl. angepaßte Spezialschuhe, die zusätzlich zu einem weicheren, beweglichen Schaft mit einem stützenden harten Versteifungseinsatz ausgestattet sind. Für die meisten Sportarten, insbesondere auch den Skilanglauf, muß der Schuh in Laufrichtung biegsam und beweglich bleiben, er soll aber dem Fuß eine gewisse Seitenstabilität verleihen, was Gelenke, Sehnen und Muskeln des Fußes schont und etwa das Laufen im Schlittschuhschritt und das sogenannte Skating wesentlich erleichtert. Bekannte Sportschuhe bzw. Langlaufskischuhe, die einen hohen, bis über die Knöchel reichenden Schaft besitzen, werden nun bisher durch in Fersenhöhe verlaufende Versteifungseinsätze verstärkt, um die gewünschte seitliche Festigkeit zu erreichen, doch befriedigen diese bekannten Versteifungseinsätze höhere Ansprüche, wie sie beispielsweise im Rennsport auftreten, nicht. Die Erfindung löst diese Aufgabe dadurch, daß der sohlenseitig offene Versteifungseinsatz über die Knöchel hochgezogene Seitenlappen aufweist, die durch eine Ausnehmung im Bereich der Archillessehne bis herunter zu deren Ansatz voneinander getrennt sind. Diese Seitenlappen geben dem Knöchel eine feste, stabile Unterstützung, ohne die Gelenkigkeit des Schaftes in Fußlängsrichtung zu behindern, so daß ein Sportschuh mit gewünschter Bewegungsfreiheit im Zehen-, Rist- und Fersenbereich, aber mit großer Seitenstabilität entsteht. Der Versteifungseinsatz kann dabei außen oder innen auf das durchgehende Schaftmaterial aufgebracht sein, er kann aber auch als echter Einsatz in entsprechende Ausschnitte des Schaftmaterials eingefügt und unmittelbar in den Schaft integriert sein.The invention solves this problem in that the stiffening insert, which is open on the sole side, has side flaps which are pulled up over the ankles and are separated from one another by a recess in the area of the archilles tendon down to their approach.
