- A diesel engine according to any of the preceding claims, characterised in that the round bolt is mounted in a matching semicircular milled recess in the cover plate (6) of the cylinder head (2), the cover plate being raised to the level of the round bolt (10), and slots (11) at right angles to the axis of the round bolt (10) are formed at both sides of the semicircular recess in the cover plate (6) and have the same width as the rocker arm (7) in the region of the rocker-arm bearing (12) and have a depth at least sufficient for free passage of the rocker arms (4).
- A diesel engine according to any of the preceding claims, characterised in that the round bolt (10) between the trunnions (9) is formed with a flat portion (13) and side surfaces (14), the flat portion (13) resting on a flat surface on the cover plate (6) and the side surfaces (14) being guided in the slots (11).
