Definitions

  • the invention relates to a paper handkerchief pack with a stack of folded paper handkerchiefs, which is enclosed on all sides by a film covering.
  • the wrapping of paper tissue packs should offer a good protective function not only when the packaging is closed, but also during a longer period in which the film wrapping is already open and the paper handkerchiefs are removed from the film wrapping in accordance with the respective requirements. Since the paper handkerchief pack is generally carried in pockets of outer clothing or in handbags during this period, it is subject to various mechanical influences which can cause the handkerchiefs to crumble and fall out of the film wrapping, and there is also the risk of the paper handkerchiefs becoming soiled, as soon as the film wrapping has been opened by opening a removal opening.
  • paper handkerchiefs can be removed from a paper handkerchief pack in a simple manner, since there is often the need to have a handkerchief readily available in the unfolded state for use.
  • Paper tissue packs are known (DE-OS 2 338 907) in which the desire for easy removal of the paper tissues is met by providing a large removal opening, e.g. a line of weakness is provided with which the film wrapping can be separated in the region of its short narrow side or opened like a flap;
  • a large removal opening e.g. a line of weakness is provided with which the film wrapping can be separated in the region of its short narrow side or opened like a flap;
  • Such a design of the removal opening has the disadvantage that the individual handkerchiefs can easily fall out of the film wrapping in the course of the use of such paper tissue packs and are also relatively strongly exposed to the risk of contamination.
  • the handkerchiefs are removed from the pack in this pack in the folded state.
  • a tissue package is known in which a stack of zig-zag tissue tissues is housed in a cardboard container.
  • These cosmetic tissues either form a zigzag-shaped band or two such bands, the zigzag layer serving to have one end of the band protrude from the removal opening; the individual cloths are torn off during the removal from the belt or tapes mentioned, high forces naturally being exerted on the edge of the removal opening of the container made of cardboard.
  • These tapes have a Z-shaped pre-fold and the bending edges of the zig-zag lay perpendicular to the fold lines of the pre-fold, but there is no automatic unfolding when removed.
  • the design of the paper handkerchief pack according to the invention results in a good protective function and enables easy removal, the simplicity of this concept making it possible to implement it with little effort and a further advantage is that the paper handkerchiefs are opened automatically when removed.
  • the line of weakness can run along a straight line or a curved curve. The preferred embodiment, in which the line of weakness follows the edge of a surface figure extending over the center of a broad side surface of the film envelope, facilitates removal.
  • the weakening line runs along an oval or circle encircling the center of the broad side surface of the film wrapping. But there are also other surface figures, such as Triangle, quadrilateral, star, to form the removal opening in question. It is also advantageous if the line of weakness following the edge of a surface figure leaves a small part of the circumference of this surface figure, and thus, when the line of weakness is broken, a flap hanging on the envelope, which lies in the removal opening, is formed.
  • This measure can further improve the protection of the opened package against soiling of the paper tissues still present therein. Hiebei it is further favorable in the sense of opening the flap as easily as possible when removing paper handkerchiefs from the pack, provided that the part of the circumference of the surface figure which is left free from the line of weakness lies in a zone of this surface figure which is one of the short side edges of the broad side surface is adjacent.
  • the weakening line runs along an oval, the longitudinal extent of which extends in the direction of the longitudinal edges of the broad side surface.
  • the oval has a greater width and a larger radius of curvature on one side than on its other side and thus has a shape similar to the outline of an egg.
  • Another embodiment which shows particularly favorable properties with regard to the first opening of the film covering and also a simple covering of the removal opening.
  • the line of weakness runs along three line sections, two of these line sections being spaced apart and the third line section connects these two line sections with one another and is approximately perpendicular to them, and so these line sections form approximately the shape of an I, H or C with one another.
  • a removal opening can be formed by simply pressing in the weakening line, which has good access for gripping the transverse edge of the exposed corner of the top handkerchief and which is provided with one or two flaps hanging on the edge of the removal opening, which after the removal of a handkerchief lies by itself or by simply swiping it over the removal opening so that it is well covered against the ingress of dirt.
  • the line sections run straight. It is also advantageous if the third line section lies approximately parallel to the long sides of the film cover over the edge of the handkerchief lying at the top of the pack, which edge crosses the center of the broad side surface of the film cover.
  • the paper handkerchiefs which are pulled out of the removal opening of the paper handkerchief pack according to the invention, which is located centrally on the broad side surface, by grasping the edge which runs transversely from one longitudinal edge to the other longitudinal edge of the relevant handkerchief, are automatically unfolded when they are pulled out and are thus usually immediately responsible for use the desired unfolded form.
  • an embodiment of the paper tissue package according to the invention is advantageous, which is characterized in that the film wrapper has, in addition to the line of weakness running across the center of the broad side surface, a further line of weakness which runs in the vicinity of a short narrow side of the film wrapping and releases a front side of the stack of tissues when it is broken open Removal opening forms.
  • FIG. 1 shows an embodiment of a paper handkerchief pack designed according to the invention in a view
  • 2 to 4 show different stages of the folding of the paper handkerchief which is provided in the paper handkerchief pack designed according to the invention
  • 5 shows the removal of a paper handkerchief from a paper handkerchief pack designed according to the invention
  • 6 and 7 show embodiments of paper tissue packs designed according to the invention with a circular and with an oval removal opening in the closed state in a top view
  • 8, 10 and 11 show embodiments of paper tissue packs designed according to the invention, in which the line of weakness of the film wrapper runs along line sections which approximately form the shape of an I, H or C, in the closed state in a top view
  • FIG. 9 shows the package according to FIG. 8 in the open state.
  • the paper handkerchief pack 1 shown in FIG. 1 has a film wrapping 2 which surrounds a stack of folded paper handkerchiefs 3 on all sides. These paper handkerchiefs are indicated in Fig. 1 by dashed lines.
  • the film covering 2 has a weakening line 4, which is arranged on the broad side surface 5 of the film covering 2. This broad side surface follows the surface extension of the folded paper handkerchiefs 3.
  • These paper handkerchiefs 3 have a fold in which a corner 6 of the same lies freely on an outside of the folded handkerchief with the two edges 7, 8 extending from it; the edge 7 extends approximately in the middle of the surface extension of the folded handkerchief from one longitudinal edge to the other longitudinal edge thereof and the edge 8 runs along a longitudinal edge of the folded handkerchief.
  • FIGS. 2 to 4 show in detail, from a Z-shaped pre-fold 10, which is shown in FIG. 2.
  • the fold lines 11, 12 of this pre-folding run parallel to one another and parallel to the edges 14, 15 of the handkerchief.
  • This pre-folding is then folded twice; the first of these folds around a fold line 16 running perpendicular to the fold lines 11, 12 leads to the structure shown in FIG. 3, which is then folded again around a fold line 17, which likewise runs perpendicular to the fold lines 11, 12, whereby receives the final shape shown in Fig. 4.
  • a corner 6 of the handkerchief with the two edges 7, 8 emanating from it lies freely on the outside of the folded cloth 3, the edge 7 being approximately in the middle of the surface extension of the cloth 3 from one longitudinal edge 18 it extends to the other longitudinal edge 20 of the same and the other edge 8 runs from the corner 6 along the longitudinal edge 20.
  • the weakening line 4 runs over the center of the broad side surface 5 of the film wrapper 2 and follows a surface figure extending over the center of the broad side surface 5 of the film wrapper 2, this surface figure being an oval in the case shown in FIG. 1.
  • This surface figure could also be a circle, a triangle, a square, a polygon, a star or the like.
  • the weakening line 4 could, however, also run along a straight or curved curve leading over the center of the broad side surface 5.
  • the weakening line 4 can, as shown in Fig. 1, extend over the entire circumference of a surface figure and in this case when opening the package by pressing in the weakening line 4, a piece of film corresponding to this surface figure can be separated from the film wrapping and there are paper handkerchiefs in the film wrapping open under the removal opening thus formed.
  • a small part 24 of the circumference of the imaginary surface figure, which is followed by the weakening line 4 can be left free, so that when the weakening line 4 is broken through, one on the wrapping 2 hanging flap 25 is formed, which covers the opening formed when the line of weakness is broken.
  • the part 24 of the circumference of the imaginary surface figure left free from the weakening line 4 lies in a zone of this surface figure which is adjacent to one of the short side edges 26 of the broad side surface 5. If the weakening line 4 follows a triangle, square or polygon, the zone 24 can correspond to one side; if the line of weakness follows a curved curve, zone 24 lies between the end points thereof.
  • the weakening line 4 is formed following an oval, it is advantageous if, as is also the case with the embodiments according to FIGS. 1 and 7, the longitudinal extension of the oval runs in the direction of the longitudinal edges 28 of the broad side surface 5. As mentioned above, it is further advantageous if the oval has a larger width and a larger radius of curvature on one side 29 than on its other side 30 and thus has a shape similar to the outline of an egg, as in FIG. 7 can be seen.
  • the film wrapping 2 in addition to the weakening line 4 which runs over the center of the broad side surface 5 and follows the edge of a circle, the film wrapping 2 has a further weakening line 32 which ver in the vicinity of a short narrow side 33 of the film wrapping 2 runs and forms a removal opening that opens the end face of the stack of tissues when it is broken open.
  • the handkerchiefs can be removed unfolded from this removal opening and the handkerchiefs can also be removed very easily with one hand from this removal opening.
  • the weakening line 4 runs along three line sections 41, 42, 43, of which the line sections 41, 42 are adjacent to one another at a distance from one another, and the third line section 43 connects the two line sections 41, 42 to one another ; the third line section 43 is approximately perpendicular to the line sections 41, 42 and the three line sections mentioned together form approximately the shape of an I.
  • the film envelope 2 can be opened by simply pressing in the weakening line 4, a removal opening 22 being formed (see FIG. 9), which enables easy grasping of the edge 7 of the paper handkerchief lying on top of the stack.
  • the handkerchief in question can be removed by pulling its edge 7 out of the removal opening of the pack, the handkerchief unfolding on its own during this pulling out and thus being ready for use at the same time.
  • Flaps 45 hang on the mutually opposite edges of the removal opening 22, which flaps cover the removal opening formed by breaking through the weakening line 4.
  • the flaps 45 are usually covered by the elasticity of the film material that forms the film wrapping, after a handkerchief has been removed from the pack, and cover it so that the paper handkerchiefs still in the wrapping are well protected against contamination . If the flaps 45 do not assume a position covering the removal opening 11 due to their own elasticity after the removal of a handkerchief, a simple swiping over these flaps is sufficient to bring them into the position mentioned covering the removal opening 22.
  • the course of the abutting edges 46 of the flaps 45 or of the line section 43 provided in this embodiment, along which the film covering has been severed to form the edges 46, in the direction of the longitudinal extent of the pack 1 enables the flaps 45 to be opened and closed in the further ones Removing paper tissues with very easy handling or manipulation.
  • the straight course of the line sections 41, 42, 43 or the weakening line 4 accompanying them also facilitates the first-time opening of the film wrapping by pressing it in along the weakening lines.
  • a similar course of the weakening line 4 is provided as in the embodiment according to FIG. 8, but the third line section 43 adjoins the two line sections 41, 42 which are spaced apart from one another opposite ends of the line sections 41, 42, so that the three line sections 41, 42, 43 together form approximately the shape of a C.
  • the package is opened by pressing in the weakening line, there is a removal opening which is covered by a single flap 48.
  • This embodiment enables when the removal opening is closed after the removal of the paper tray.
  • the third line section 43 which is followed by the weakening line 4 and thus also the rank 49 of the flap 48, runs in the longitudinal direction of the pack.
  • the weakening line 4 runs along three line sections 41, 42, 43 which together form approximately the shape of an H; the two line sections 41, 42 lying at a distance from one another run in the longitudinal direction of the pack and the third line section 43, which connects the two line sections 41, 42, transversely thereto.
  • a removal opening can be formed which, similarly to the embodiment according to FIG. 8, can be covered by two flaps 50 which hang on opposite edges of the removal opening.
