Abstract
Un séparateur centrifuge comprend un rotor (1) ayant à sa circonférence, pendant son fonctionnement, des premiers orifices ouvrables (4) de décharge intermittente d'un produit séparé et des deuxièmes orifices axialement écartés des premiers (4) pour décharger un liquide de travail fourni au rotor pour faire fonctionner les premiers orifices (4). Le séparateur centrifuge comprend également un logement (3) qui entoure le rotor (1), un dispositif qui forme une première chambre (12) autour du rotor, à l'intérieur du logement, pour recevoir et éloigner un produit séparé sortant par les premiers orifices (4) et une deuxième chambre (13) agencée autour du rotor pour recevoir et éloigner un liquide de travail qui sort par les deuxièmes orifices (5). Pour éliminer les risques de mélange du produit séparé et du liquide de travail provoqués par des courants d'air d'entraînement se formant entre les deux chambres (12 et 13), celles-ci sont séparées l'une de l'autre par deux cloisons (10 et 11) axialement écartées l'une de l'autre et s'étendant autour et près du rotor (1). Ces cloisons délimitent entre elles une chambre intermédiaire (14) ouverte vers le rotor (1) et en communication avec l'atmosphère à l'extérieur du logement (3).
