Abstract
Dispositif pour soutenir et refroidir un produit de coulée continue à sa sortie de la lingotière (12) constitué par une pièce (18) fixée sous la lingotière de telle sorte que l'une des faces du produit coulé vienne en contact avec une surface d'appui (20) de cette pièce et glisse sur celle-ci et munie de têtes d'arrosage (24) placées dans des alvéoles ou des ouvertures (22) de ladite pièce et aptes à projeter des jets d'un fluide de refroidissement sur ladite face du produit coulé. La présente invention a pour objet un dispositif utilisé sur les machines de coulée continue pour soutenir et refroidir le produit coulé à sa sortie de la lingotière et constitué par une pièce pleine ou ajourée, fixée sous la lingotière de telle sorte que le produit coulé vienne en contact avec une surface de cette pièce et glisse sur celle-ci, et munie de têtes d'arrosage placées dans des alvéoles ou des ouvertures de la pièce et aptes à projeter sur la face du produit coulé en contact avec ladite pièce des jets d'un fluide de refroidissement. Dans les dispositifs connus de ce type on utilise des buses de pulvérisation alimentées en eau ou autre liquide de refroidissement. Des chambres d'atomisation 30 disposées latéralement de part et d'autre de la grille, entre les deux plans parallèles définis par les surfaces d'appui des barreaux, sont fixées sur celle-ci et reliées aux canaux par des raccords 32.
