Abstract

For the decorative display of matching items of clothing (11; 21-25), a clothes stand is proposed, in which column members (1, 1.1', 1.1") of a multi-column stand consist of tubular columns (1) which are connected by cross-beams (13, 14', 14") to form pairs (1.1) of columns. The top ends of the tubular columns (1) are provided with end members which reinforce their end regions mechanically in such a way that these regions and the cross-beams (13, 14', 14") form coupling zones for mounting equipment elements (9, 15-17, 19, 20) for the items of clothing to be displayed. <IMAGE>

Description

The invention relates to a decorative clothes rack according to the preamble of claim 1.

For the decorative presentation of clothing and accessories, it is common to use height-adjustable clothes racks and mannequins, which are assigned separate aids in the form of stands and / or moldings for showing clothing ingredients such as shirts, ties, etc. If, for example, an alternative pair of pants or blouse is to be introduced for a suit, several decoration aids are required, which are often only suitable for a limited area of application and require a lot of stacking space when not in use. In addition, such decoration aids and in particular mannequins are mostly only suitable for clothing presentations in shop windows and demonstration rooms and cannot be used in sales rooms.

From DE-U-85 30 228 a decorative clothes rack with several columns on a common foot element is known, on or on which items of equipment designed to present garments are removably attached. An upper pull-out column is telescopically arranged in a lower standpipe or standpipe assembly and can be adjusted in height by a locking device which engages with the pull-out column. Such known decorative clothes racks are preferably suitable for sales rooms in order to arrange items of clothing at the correct viewing height. For the presentation of clothing ingredients such as shirts, socks, ties etc. are usually unsuitable or require additional components that make space-saving handling difficult.

The aim of the invention is therefore to provide a versatile clothes rack on which not only whole suits, but also a number of accessories to be offered, such as second trousers, sports blouse, shirt, shoes and the like, can be advantageously presented in a confined space.

The resultant task is to propose a multi-column stand made up of tubular column elements arranged in pairs, in which the columns can be covered with suspension means such as cantilevers, trays, bust elements and the like and are in a fixed or mutually adjustable arrangement on a common base element.

The achievement of this object according to the invention is evident from the characterization of claim 1. Embodiments thereof are defined by the dependent claims.

The advantages of the decorative clothes rack according to the invention are, in particular, its adaptability to the specific presentation requirements of clothing of all kinds, its usability both for window displays and in sales rooms for demonstrating clothing combinations, and a relatively small stacking space requirement when not in use by removable support and carrying elements.

Identical reference numbers in the figures denote identical or identical components.

Die Säulenaufsätze 5 tragen auf ihrem oberen Ende einen Formbügel 9, der beispielsweise nach Fig. 10 gestaltet sein kann.1a, 1b shows a simple embodiment of a decorative clothes rack according to the invention in front and side view, in which two tubular columns 1 are placed on a base plate 2, which gives the tubular columns 1, 1 stability. Each tubular column 1 has an adjusting screw 3 next to its upper end, through which an extension tube 4 can be moved and clamped longitudinally in the tubular column. Details of the terminal point can be seen in FIG. 6 and will be described later. Column attachments 5 are attached to the extension tubes 4, which in turn can be fixed on the extension tubes 4 by means of set screws 6. These set screws 6 can be both hand-turnable knurled screws and headless Allen screws that can be tightened with a socket wrench. The lower ends of the column attachments 5 can be connected by a transverse linkage 7 to end holding bushes 8, in which the lower ends of the extension tubes mentioned engage, and thus stabilize the column frame 1, 4, 5. The column attachments 5 carry a shaped bracket 9 on their upper end, which can be designed, for example, according to FIG. 10.

6 so einstellbar, dass der Veston 11 auf die richtige Traghöhe bezüglich der Hose 10 bringbar ist.1c shows how a single suit can be presented on the decorative clothes rack according to FIGS. 1a, 1b. The tubular columns 1 penetrate the pants legs of this suit, and the pants 10 can e.g. be hung on the crossbar 7 in the waistband area. The height of the column attachments 5 supporting the shaped bracket 9 can be adjusted by means of the adjusting screws 3 and 6 engaging in the column elements 1, 5 such that the veston 11 can be brought to the correct carrying height with respect to the trousers 10.

It goes without saying that, analogously to FIG. 5a, each of the column attachments 5 could be provided with a “flying” shaped bracket 9, for example to decorate two individual vestons 11.

Die Tragstange 34 ist mittels einer Stellschraube 6 in der Klemmbüchse gehalten.8 shows the arrangement of a shirt shelf 17 together with a shirt shelf support which, for example, like the cantilever support arrangement 18 in FIGS. 4b and 5b, can be attached to the double crossbars 14 "on the rear pair of columns (tubular columns 1"). For hanging a support plate 31 is provided which has an upper bend 31 ', which overlaps the upper cross member at approximately 180 ° of its circumference, and a lower bend 31''which engages under the lower cross member at approximately 90 °. The support plate 31 carries its side facing away from the column pair 1 "has an extension arm 32, at the front end of which a clamping sleeve 33 in the form of a vertical oriented pipe piece is attached. A height-adjustable support rod 34 is held in the bore of the clamping sleeve 33, and the tray plate 35 is attached to the upper end thereof. The support rod 34 is held in the clamping sleeve by means of an adjusting screw 6.

It is attached to the upper end of the tubular column by means of a plug-in pin 36 which can be clamped in the column bore by means of an adjusting screw 6. On the plug 36, a self-contained holding frame 37, 37 'is constructed, which, as shown with a solid line (37), lies horizontally, or as shown with a broken line (37'), is inclined downwards.

The shaped bracket 9 shown in FIGS. 10a-d for the presentation of vestons has as a base element a bust-shaped plastic hollow body 38, which is preferably produced in a thermoplastic rotation process. The hollow body 38 is provided with two outer plug openings 39 arranged symmetrically to the vertical stirrup axis XX and a central plug opening 40 lying in the plane of the stirrup axis XX, all of which are open at the bottom three. Both the outer plug-in openings 39 and the middle plug-in opening 40 are lined with reinforcing sleeves 41 and 42 (the latter with an overhead screw connection 42 '), and all plug-in openings 39, 40 can optionally (before the shaping of the hollow body) for the fitting of the shaped bracket a column attachment 5 (insertion opening 40) can be designed. The outer plug sleeves 39 are expediently always spaced apart from one another by a measure which corresponds to the distance between the tubular columns 1, by decorative clothes racks of those shown in FIGS. 1a and 4a To be able to create. The central neck part 9.1 of the shaped bracket 9 can be designed in such a way that it can be provided with an interchangeable cover 43 standing upright, also called a neck cover, in particular for decorative purposes. For this purpose, the neck part of the hollow body 38 is provided with an overlying flat 44, into which an upwardly open cup-shaped recess 45 is formed. The recess 45 is provided with a lining sleeve 46, into which an insertion pin 47, which is axially downwardly directed on the inside of the neck sleeve 43, can be brought into locking relationship. The interchangeable neck cover 43 can be adapted both in terms of color and in terms of its shape to specific decoration needs.

While the shaped bracket was previously always to be understood as a plug-on part which was to be placed directly on a column attachment 5 or on an extension tube 4, FIG. 10d shows an assembly variant shown with a broken line with an approximately inverted U-shaped suspension bracket 48. One of the legs 48 'Is clamped in the upper end of a tubular column or a column attachment 5, and the other leg 48' engages through (not designated) openings in the neck cover 43 and in the hollow body flattening 44 through from above into the central insertion opening 40. The existing there on the reinforcing sleeve 42 screw extension 42 'allows the clamp 9 to be cantilevered to the hanger bracket 48.

On a support plate 49, which can be designed in principle the same as the support plate 31 in Fig. 8 and hooked into the double cross members 14 ' bar, is a cantilever 50 which carries a tray plate 51 in a symmetrical (not shown) or in an asymmetrical arrangement (left or right side).

Fig. 12 shows the already known from Fig. 4b shoe shelf 20 in the assembled position on the single cross members 13 between two pairs of columns 1.1 'and 1.1˝. At the upper end of the flat tray, which is expediently produced from a sheet metal section, a hook-in channel 52 is integrally formed, which grips around the upper rear single crossbeam 13 in a tilt-proof manner. The lower end of the shoe shelf provided with a stop rib 53 lies on the lower front single cross member 13.

Finally, FIG. 13 shows a possibility of connecting two decorative clothes racks designed according to the invention by means of a connecting shelf 54. This is located between two tubular column frames of the paired embodiment which are in exactly parallel alignment and a predetermined distance from one another as supporting members. On a frame 56 supporting a tray plate 57, suspension gliders 55 are attached on opposite sides of the frame, which consist of vertically downward flat stop strips 58 and safety hooks 59 bent at their upper end. The securing hooks 59 correspond approximately to the bends 31 'formed on the top of the support plate 31 in FIG. 8, in order to enable the connecting shelf 54 to be suspended.
