Die üblicherweise verwendeten Getränkedosen sind von unterschiedlicher Größe, jedoch in ihrer Form vergleichweise ähnlich, indem sie von zylinderförmigem Aufbau sind, dessen Länge ein Vielfaches des Radius beträgt und eine der Stirnseiten als Standfläche und die gegenüberliegende zur Anbringung der der Öffnung dienenden Lasche genutzt wird.
