- a vortex cleaner is known from European patent application 0058484.
- a central guide body is provided in the upper region of the essentially conical main body, but only one has approximately conical shape.
- An outlet chamber adjoins the conical part with the smaller diameter arranged at the bottom and has an essentially much larger diameter than the outlet end of the conical part and is penetrated centrally by the central separator tube for the light particles.
- the remaining variants according to this publication also show this discharge chamber.
- the cone angle of the conical part of the main body is between 2 ° and 5 °, i.e. the cone opening angle between 4 ° and 10 °, preferably the cone angle between 2.5 ° and 4 °, i.e. the cone opening angle is between 5 ° and 8 °.
- these angles of inclination are already known from the previous designs of the vortex cleaners.
- the cyclone which is used here preferably for separating solid contaminant particles from fiber suspensions, is shown here in the preferred installation position.
- the end with the larger diameter, which has the inlet part 3, is in the lower position and the part with the smaller diameter to which the outlet part 6 is connected is in the upper position, because here a fraction enriched with light soiling is present to be subtracted, which has specifically lighter components than the specific weight of the suspension (liquid)

- the outlet part 6 is initially straight as far as it passes through the central separator tube 5 and then kinks with its outlet end 7 essentially at a right angle.
- the specifically relatively heavier suspension which is essentially freed from the light impurities, is then drawn off through the discharge opening 8 of the outlet part.
- the suspension is fed tangentially to the inlet part 3 via the inlet pipe 1, as a result of which it flows around the guide body 4 in a spiral-helical manner.
- the straight, cylindrical outlet part 6 settles without transitions, edges or jumps immediately as an extension of the conical part 2 of the main body.
- the central separator tube 5 extends a very small dimension into the conical part 2 of the main body, which can be between almost zero and approximately 5 or 10 mm.

Abstract
Das gerade, zylindrische Auslaufteil 6 knickt vorzugsweise im scharfen Winkel rechtwinklig zu seinem Auslaufende 7 hin ab.The outlet part 6 of the hydrocyclone, with a base body formed in the shape of a truncated cone at least in its middle part 2, connects seamlessly in a straight continuation to the end with the smaller diameter of the conical part 2 and is designed as a straight cylinder, at least in the area where the central light fraction extraction pipe 5 runs. which concentrically surrounds the light fraction extraction pipe 5. The outlet part 6 is preferably arranged on top. A relatively heavier accept material fraction and a relatively lighter light dirt fraction can thus be drawn off through the central light material extraction pipe 5. A conical guide body 4 is located centrally in the inlet area 3 of the hydrocyclone, the tip opening angle of which is preferably between 25 ° and 33 °. The straight, cylindrical outlet part 6 preferably kinks at a sharp angle perpendicular to its outlet end 7.
Description
The invention relates to a vortex cleaner according to the preamble of claim 1. Such a vortex cleaner is known from European patent application 0058484. According to the variant according to FIG. 1 of this document, a central guide body is provided in the upper region of the essentially conical main body, but only one has approximately conical shape. An outlet chamber adjoins the conical part with the smaller diameter arranged at the bottom and has an essentially much larger diameter than the outlet end of the conical part and is penetrated centrally by the central separator tube for the light particles. The remaining variants according to this publication also show this discharge chamber.
According to the invention, it has been recognized that an omission of this outlet chamber and a straight continuation of the conical part of the main body in a cylindrical part, which of the central separator pipe for the light particles is interspersed a little and then essentially knee-shaped, preferably kinked at right angles, brings about a better separation effect for the light particles.
It should preferably be provided that the cone angle of the conical part of the main body is between 2 ° and 5 °, i.e. the cone opening angle between 4 ° and 10 °, preferably the cone angle between 2.5 ° and 4 °, i.e. the cone opening angle is between 5 ° and 8 °. However, these angles of inclination are already known from the previous designs of the vortex cleaners.
The invention is explained below using an exemplary embodiment shown in the drawing.
The cyclone (vortex cleaner), which is used here preferably for separating solid contaminant particles from fiber suspensions, is shown here in the preferred installation position. The end with the larger diameter, which has the
The tip or cone opening angle of the guide body 4 is between 22 ° and 38 °, preferably between 25 ° and 33 °.
The ratio of the length of the straight part of the
As already mentioned, the opposite installation position is chosen, as shown in the drawing. However, it has already been mentioned that the other position, namely the usual or a horizontal, that is to say a horizontal, installation position is also possible.
