Abstract

The oven has a cooking chamber, which can be closed by a door and is equipped with upper and lower heating elements for top and bottom heating, the heating element for bottom heating being integrated into a dividing plate which can alter the volume of the cooking chamber. The dividing plate (5) is shielded from the floor (7) of the cooking chamber by heat insulation (8). Breaks (14) are provided in the side walls (9, 9') of the cooking chamber, and optionally in the rear wall, at the level of the guides (10) for the dividing plate (5). (Fig. 1) <IMAGE>
