Abstract

The use of soluble methylol compounds from primary or secondary amines or ammonia with formaldehyde in diazotypes improves solution compatibility and prevents coupler migration upon storage of diazotype materials. The methylol compounds may be reacted with couplers sepa­ rately or added to the coating preparations.
