Definitions
- the invention relates to a doctor blade for a roller washing device of a printing press.
- Such a doctor blade is known from US Pat. No. 2,199,469. It consists of a doctor blade which is screwed to a pivotable carrier and can be turned against a roller of the roller block of the printing machine to be washed by pivoting the carrier. With such an arrangement, there is a risk that the doctor blade, due to both tension during screwing and twisting of the knife carrier, cannot be applied to the roller to be doctored over the full width with uniform pressure. On the one hand there is the disadvantage that the roller is not scraped off completely cleanly. On the other hand, however, there is also the risk that the parts of the doctor blade that are set under higher pressure will be partially ground off the roller. In addition, such a doctor device is composed of several parts.
- the invention has for its object to provide a very simple doctor blade of the type mentioned, which rests over the entire width of the roller to be doctored with a uniform pressure force on this.
- the doctor blade according to FIG. 1 comprises a profile tube 1 which can be pressurized with compressed air or pressure relieved.
- the profile tube 1 is provided on the side facing a roller 2 to be scraped off with a doctor web 3 running parallel to the axis of the roller 2.
- this doctor blade web can be produced in one piece with the profile tube 1.
- the doctor bar 3 there is also the possibility of producing the doctor bar 3 from a harder material and then firmly connecting it to the profile tube 1, for example by gluing. Two or more doctor bars can also be provided.
- the side of the profile tube facing away from the roller 2 is provided with a baseboard 4.
- This skirting board 4 engages to fix the profile tube 1 in an approximately T-shaped guide of a rigid support 5, which is fastened in a manner not shown on the side walls on which the axis of the roller 2 is mounted.
- the profile hose 1 is designed so that it assumes the position shown in dashed lines in the pressure-relieved position. By applying pressure, the profile tube 1 bulges into the position shown with solid lines, so that the doctor web 3 comes to rest on the roller 2. Since the pressure force with which the squeegee web is pressed against the roller 2 is constant over the entire length of the roller 2, the squeegee web 3 lies evenly on this roller, so that it is doctored off completely uniformly. Since no swiveling movements are necessary to switch the doctor bar on and off, the elimination of swivel bearings results in a very simple, space-saving construction.
- a profile tube 6 is used, which is inserted into a rigid support 7 U-shaped cross section.
- the surface 9 of the profile tube facing away from the roller 8 to be scraped off is firmly connected by gluing to the carrier 7.
- the inside of the profile hose 6 can in turn be pressurized with compressed air or pressure relieved.
- the surface 10 of the profile tube 6 facing the roller 8 to be scraped off is curved inward, so that in this position there is no contact between the surface 10 and the roller 8.
- the profile also lies here hose over the entire length of the roller 8 with even pressure.

Description
The invention relates to a doctor blade for a roller washing device of a printing press.
Such a doctor blade is known from US Pat. No. In reversible machines and in a space-dependent arrangement with opposing squeegee effect, there is also the risk that the roller will take the squeegee edge with it if it is positioned unevenly and thus tip over the squeegee.
The invention has for its object to provide a very simple doctor blade of the type mentioned, which rests over the entire width of the roller to be doctored with a uniform pressure force on this.
This object is achieved by applying the measures specified in the characterizing part of
- Fig. 1 shows a first embodiment of a doctor blade according to the invention and
- Fig. 2 shows a second embodiment in each case in a sectional view.
The doctor blade according to FIG. 1 comprises a
The side of the profile tube facing away from the
The
