Abstract

1. Lid with childproof closure for box-like or drum-like containers with edge reinforcement, more particularly with a flanged edge (13) with an inner cover (6), said lid having an outer edge situated above the edge reinforcement, with two resiliently disposed hook-shaped bolts (7), adapted to be operated from the outside and extending beneath and behind the edge reinforcement, the operating elements of said bolts being situated at a distance from each other which is greater than the span of child's hand, at least one hook element (12), which cannot be operated from the outside, being disposed opposite to said actuating elements, characterized in that the lid is provided with a raised edge zone (4) having three rings (1, 2, 3) extending perpendicularly into the interior of the container and being disposed concentrically with respect to each other and having an outer stack indentation (5), situated substantially between the outer ring (3) and the middle ring (2), the inner ring (1) being connected to the inner cover (6) and the outer ring (3) forming the edge, the middle ring (2) extending approximately by the amount of edge reinforcement beyond the outer ring (3), the bolts (7) being formed by cuts (8) in the middle ring (2) and integrally formed hooks (9) being provided over which openings (10) with lateral webs (11) are disposed in the stack indentation (45) and the cuts (8) extend through the outer ring (3) and where appropriate the webs (11) extend into the the edge region (4) approximately adjoining the inner ring (1).
