Description

The invention relates to a window with a rung grille, according to the preamble of claim 1, as is known from DE-GM 8 317 035.

The known lattice grating is formed from continuous and transverse to these rungs, which are each made of hollow profile bars that have a regularly trapezoidal cross section.

At the cross-connection points between continuous and transverse rungs are arranged on the continuous rungs on both sides of these outwardly extending pins which have a cross section such that the hollow profile bars of the transverse rungs can be pushed onto these pins.

The pins are formed from a continuous profile section which is pushed through recesses formed complementarily to its cross-sectional contour in the opposite side walls of the continuous rung and is glued to this rung.

Such a rung grid has the disadvantage that the cutouts are difficult to produce. In addition, glue points directly adjoin the visible surfaces of the continuous rung, so that even with careful processing, the annoyingly visible leakage of glue is not always avoidable.

Another problem lies in the fact that when using a hollow profile rod made of metal, which is coated on the outside with plastic, the adhesive often does not adhere or only adheres poorly to the metal.

On the other hand, such rungs often have a structured, possibly also colored surface. This in turn can be attacked by the adhesive.

Because of the great effort involved in producing the trapezoidal recesses, they are difficult to produce with simple workshop means.

The same also applies to the application of the adhesive, since experience, practice and special facilities are required to apply the adhesive because of the high risk of contamination described.

Based on this problem, the object of the invention is to create an easy-to-produce, clean connection for the known window with a lattice grille attached. According to the invention, this object is achieved by the features of claim 1.

Here, as in the known rung grid, the two pegs are not formed by a continuous profile section, but the two pegs are designed as individual pegs and do not penetrate the profile of the continuous rung with their entire cross section, but only have protruding fingers in them assigned parallel bores are inserted and guided in the rung.

While the pegs can be manufactured and supplied as die-cast parts, the profile material used to manufacture the continuous rungs allows two parallel holes to be made with sufficient accuracy, even in poorly set-up workshops. This means that the entire rung grille can be easily and neatly manufactured in the workshop with all its cross-connection points, whereby design changes can be taken into account at any time.

It is possible to use solid bars for the continuous rungs, since the introduction of parallel holes in them does not pose any difficulties.

However, a particular advantage of the pins according to the invention is that they can be attached to the continuous rung without the use of adhesive. It is possible, for example, to dimension the parallel bores in such a way that the fingers can be pressed into them and fit in them with a clamp fit. According to the invention, however, it is particularly advantageous that the screws holding the two pins extend through the fingers of the two pins, so that the accuracy of the parallel bores also has to be met with very few requirements.

The pins can be made of plastic, whereby one of the pins can have embedded nuts for the connecting screws in the plastic. According to a preferred embodiment of the invention, the pins are designed as die-cast parts, which ensures sufficient dimensional accuracy. These die-cast parts are preferably made of metal, with a through hole for the passage of the connecting screw in one of the fingers and a threaded hole for the other in the other finger. A zinc alloy is preferred as the metal.

Since one of the fingers has a threaded hole and the other finger has a through hole, if two fingers of the same type are placed opposite one another with their fingers, there is in each case a threaded hole in front of a through hole. Thus, only a single design of a pin is required, since both pins of a cross connection point are identical in construction. This makes manufacturing, warehousing and assembly even easier and to a significant extent.

The pins have a cross section such that those hollow bars which form the transverse rungs can be pushed onto the pins. In this case, these cross bars can be glued to the outer surfaces of the pegs, there being no risk of contamination from glue, since the gluing points can be far away from visible edges.

One can also do without glue if, according to a further embodiment of the invention, the outside of the pin is provided with angular longitudinal ribs, the back of which, preferably in the form of a knife, against the Fit the inner surface of the hollow bars. According to the invention, the dimensions of the pins are matched to the internal dimensions of the hollow profile bars in such a way that the hollow profile bars are in any case seated on the back of the longitudinal ribs. If unfavorable tolerances come together, the hollow bars can still be pushed onto the pins, since in this case the sharp-edged backs are pressed into the material of the hollow bars, which preferably consists of aluminum coated with plastic on the outside. Thus, after assembling a cross connection, no additional mounting or clamping is required for this, since the pin is always in aligning and centering engagement with the associated hollow profile rod.

Auch hier ist ein Verkleben möglich.Gluing is also possible here.

It is possible to extend the fingers so far that the end faces of the two fingers lying opposite one another at a cross-connection point sit on one another. After the two relevant pins have been screwed together, they are firmly connected to one another, but can be moved to a small extent transversely to the continuous rung.

In order to avoid gaps, it is proposed according to a further embodiment of the invention that the end faces of the pins facing the continuous rung are complementary to the corresponding side faces of the one rung, so that the end faces of the pins rest flush against the facing side wall of the continuous rung. In this case, the length of the fingers is preferably dimensioned in such a way that their end faces facing one another do not sit on one another, even with unfavorable tolerances. By tightening the connecting screws, the two pins are thus firmly clamped to the continuous rung, so that an immovable, solid support is formed for the hollow profile bars forming the transverse rungs.

It is basically possible that the through holes penetrate the pin over its entire length and a correspondingly long screw with nut is used to produce the cross connection. Since screws of the required length are relatively expensive, efforts will be made to keep these screws and thus the pin as short as possible. However, this in turn hampers the precise fixing of the hollow profile bars during assembly.

Another embodiment of the invention is that the through holes extend only through a finger and the adjacent part of the pin, but is extended over the rest of the pin through a hole with a diameter so large that it is able to accommodate the button of the connecting screw is. It is thus possible to choose the total length of the pin independently of that of the connecting screw in such a way that the hollow profile rods are optimally fixed during assembly.

Advantageously, the threaded bore can also be extended by an enlarged bore, which not only simplifies the production of the thread, but together with the above-mentioned enlarged bore also contributes to the cast piece forming the pin having a consistently uniform, thin wall thickness so that it can be manufactured without warpage. This in turn enables the production of a relatively long pin and thus a particularly clean guidance of the hollow profile bars in the production of a cross connection point if relatively small tolerances are observed.

The window according to the invention can thus be produced simply, but cleanly and with high accuracy in the workshop using simple workshop means.

Finally, it is also possible to assemble and sell a number of pegs according to the invention, hollow profile bars for forming the rungs, a drilling template for making the parallel bores and a cutting template for cutting the transverse rungs to length.

The subject of the invention is not only the window with lattice bars, but also the lattice bars alone.

The object of the invention is explained in more detail with reference to the attached schematic drawing, for example. In this show:
  • 1 is a top view of an already partially assembled cross connection point during its completion,
  • 2 shows a longitudinal section through a pin according to the invention,

In Fig. 1, the top view of a cross connection point of a window rung grating is shown.

The cross-connection point has a continuous rung 1, which is formed from an aluminum-coated hollow profile rod made of aluminum with a trapezoidal cross-section and has two side surfaces 2, which are arranged on both sides of a base surface (hidden in FIG. 1) and each form an angle with this that is smaller than 90 °.

In each of the side surfaces 2, two parallel bores 3 are made, the axes of which extend parallel to the base area mentioned and perpendicular to the center line 4 of the continuous rung 1.

A cross rung 5 made of a hollow profile bar, which has the same dimensions as the hollow profile bar forming the continuous rung 1, extends in the same plane as the continuous rung 1 and abuts it at right angles (see the left side of FIG. 1).

The cross bar 5 is seated on a pin 6, the cross-sectional profile of which is designed to accommodate the hollow profile bar forming the cross bar 5.

The pin 6 is in turn attached to the facing side surface 2 of the continuous rung 1. For this purpose, it has fingers 8 protruding from its end face 7 (see FIG. 4), which are inserted into the parallel bores 3.

In the left side of FIG. 1, a pin 6 is already inserted into the associated parallel bores, on which the cross bar 5 has already been pushed. On the right side of FIG. 1, on the other hand, the order of assembly is shown: in the direction of the small arrow, the pin 6 is first inserted with its fingers 8 into the facing parallel bores 3, its end face 7 coming flush against the facing side face 2 . The two pins 6 are screwed together in a manner described below.

After the two pins 6 are fastened to one another and pressed firmly against the respectively facing side surface 2 of the continuous rung 1, the associated cross bar 5 is then pushed onto each pin 6 in the direction of the longer arrow in FIG. 1 until it slopes like the end face 7 cut end face of the respective hollow rod 5 has come to rest against the facing side surface 2.

The pin 6 is shown in FIGS. 2 to 4 in detail, in each case in double size.

Aus Fig. 3 ist hierbei der trapezförmige Querschnitt des Zapfens 6 ersichtlich, der jenem der Quersprossen 5 ähnlich ist.3 shows the trapezoidal cross section of the pin 6, which is similar to that of the cross bars 5.

The inclination of the end face 7 can be seen from FIG. 4.

The two fingers 8 each have a longitudinal bore, namely one has a through bore 9 and the other has a threaded bore 10. The diameter of the through bore 9 is at least as large as the nominal diameter of the threaded bore 10.

Die Bohrungen 11, 12 münden an dem den Fingern 8 entgegengesetzten Ende des Zapfens 6.The two bores 9, 10 extend from the end face of the respective finger 8 starting, the other end of the pin towards, but only over a relatively short distance, which is about 1/6 corresponding to the length of the pin (without finger). Then the through bore 9 is continued by an enlarged bore 11, while the threaded bore 10 is continued by an enlarged bore 12. The bores 11, 12 open at the end of the pin 6 opposite the fingers 8.

The diameter of the bore 11 is determined in such a way that it can receive the head of a connecting screw 13, the shaft of which passes through the through bore 9 and the threaded part (not shown) of which can be screwed into the threaded bore 10.

Now it can also be seen how the two pins 6 are fastened with the continuous rung 1: in each of the two pins 6, a connecting screw 13, the thread first, is inserted into the bore 11 and with its shaft into the through bore 9. Since the two pins 6 used for a cross connection point are identical, each through hole 9 is now opposite the threaded hole 10 of the other pin 6, into which the respective connecting screw 13 is then screwed in until it rests with the seat of its head against the opposite seat surface arrives, which is formed at the transition between the respective bore 11 and the respective through bore 9. Here, the ends of the respective fingers 8 of the two pins 6 are still at a mutual distance, so that by further tightening the screw 13, the end face 7 of the two pins 6 is pressed firmly against the facing side surface 2 of the continuous rung 1.

As can be seen from FIGS. 2 to 4, the pin 6 has longitudinal ribs 13 extending over its entire length, each of which has the cross section of an isosceles, rectangular triangle, the base of which rests against the facing outer surface of the pin 6.

As can be seen from FIG. 3, a longitudinal rib 13 runs near each of the edges of the two mutually parallel outer surfaces of the pin 6, while a further longitudinal rib is arranged in the middle of each of the two mutually inclined side surfaces of the pin 6.

The end of the pin 6 facing away from the fingers 8 is chamfered at its edges in order to enable the associated cross rung to be pushed open more easily.
