Abstract

The invention relates to a composite panel for cladding a roof or wall of a building, comprising a block of insulating material (1) one or more, rigid shaped plates (3) abutting the surface of the black and collectively covering at least the periphery of the underside thereof and extending beyond the block to form a flange (4), and a layer of laminated plastics material (2) covering and adhering to the upper surface of the block and extending to cover and adhere to the adjacent surface of the flange.
The invention also relates to a method of manufacturing such a composite panel, and a cladding for a roof or wall of a building comprising an array of such panels.
