Definitions

  • the invention relates to a nozzle for household or commercial suction devices; such nozzles serve as attachments (accessories) for cleaning objects.
  • a wide variety of nozzles are used to extract dust, mostly as attachments for household and commercial suction devices.
  • the combination of suction nozzles with brush inserts is intended to simultaneously wipe and vacuum dust particles.
  • the use of rotating brush parts is also known. This is intended to enhance the cleaning effect.
  • a cylinder vacuum cleaner is known (published application DE-OS 22 18 351), which largely eliminates the above disadvantages by diverting the suction air after the filter and returning it as blown air into the nozzle.
  • a second, separate pipe and hose system is required, which feeds the compressed air generated in the suction device to the blower nozzle.
  • the design of the vacuum cleaner is complicated by the deflection of the exhaust air and its introduction into the compressed air duct.
  • it can be assumed that the residual dust not retained by the filter system is conveyed to the blowing nozzle.
  • US Pat. No. 3,328,827 describes a vacuum cleaner whose suction fan is driven by a compressed air wheel, the compressed air then being blown out around the suction nozzle via blowing nozzles.
  • the normal electric motor is therefore replaced by the pneumatic wheel.
  • a compressed air source is required. Handling is also impaired because the collection bag is attached to the handheld device and must be carried with you at all times.
  • the object of the invention is to provide a nozzle for household or commercial suction devices which can be used optionally on any suction device. According to another task, no additional energy supply should be required. Finally, the cleaning should be carried out without contact and therefore without mechanical damage to the object to be cleaned.
  • the blowing and suction nozzle uses the driving force of the suction air from vacuum cleaners or other suction devices to drive the turbine wheel located in the suction air flow.
  • This moves a second turbine wheel in the compressed air section of the device, which in turn generates a stream of blown air via a blow pipe.
  • a blowing pressure is achieved in the counterflow process at the same time as the suction effect.
  • the whirled up dust particles are discharged into the suction device together with the suction flow that is already present.
  • the coaxial arrangement of the turbine wheels allows a technically uncomplicated and lightweight construction of the device. Maintenance is not required for permanent lubrication.
  • the pressure and suction area of the nozzle are separated from each other by an annular surface.
  • the connecting pipes arranged in the annular surface allow any configuration of the blow part adapted to the respective purpose.
  • a hood is placed in the suction area of the nozzle and is tapered at the mouth of the blowpipe in such a way that turbulence (air roller) of the blow and suction air flows is achieved.
  • This controlled vortex formation which takes place at a distance from the mouth of the blowpipe, causes a noticeable cleaning effect on the objects to be cleaned.
  • the detached dust particles are caught by the swirled suction air stream without the blown object having to serve as a reflecting surface for returning the blowing stream.
  • the blowing and suction nozzle according to the invention exerts its greatest effect at some distance from the mouth.
  • the nozzle can be replaced quickly and easily with other attachments.
  • the working principle on which the invention is based can also be used as an integrated component in machines and devices.
  • the blowing and suction nozzle shown in the figures is connected via the suction pipe S to the suction device, the suction flow of which the turbines wheel T1 drives.
  • the turbine wing ring T1 drives the wing ring T2 in the intake manifold S of a common turbine wheel with opposed wind vanes in the pressure tube D.
  • the intake manifold S is divided and sealed against one another via the sliding surfaces of the turbine wheel.
  • the compressed air caused by the turbine wheel T2 flows through the connecting pipes R to the blowpipe B.
  • the exiting blow stream hits the objects, is thrown back there, mixes with the intake flow and is extracted together with the latter via the intake pipe S.
  • blowing and suction air swirl automatically at some distance from the mouth of the blowpipe B.
  • the combined air flows are in the hood H, between the connecting pipes R, via the suction pipe S into the Suction device vacuumed. With the hood H removed according to FIG. 4, the suction air between the connecting pipes R is fed directly into the suction pipe S.
