Claims (5)

1. Procédé pour l'élimination pratiquement complète de particules de carbone chargées de substances nocives et de poussières de carbone difficiles à manipuler, à l'aide d'une oxydation, dans lequel on utilise un mélange acide, d'acide sulfurique et d'acide nitrique, à température élevée, sépare, après l'oxydation, le mélange d'acides du résidu insoluble qui s'est formé et le recycle, procédé caractérisé par les étapes d'opération suivantes:
a) mélanger, en agitant, les particules de carbone avec l'acide sulfurique à la température ambiante, en une masse de consistance pâteuse ou en une suspension fluide,
b) introduite la pâte ou la suspension dans de l'acide sulfurique chauffé à 150 à 250°C avec injection simultanèe d'acide nitrique sous la surface de l'acide sulfurique,
c) evacuer les gaz et vapeurs qui se forment, et condenser les parties constituantes conderisables, le condensat étant utilisé, sans autre traitement, pour la préparation de la pâte ou de la suspension,
d) séparation des matières solides résiduelles, et retour des acides dans le procédé pour la préparation de la pâte ou de la suspension.
