Abstract

To reduce overvoltages when switching high-voltage circuit breakers, particularly when connecting unloaded overhead lines, closing resistors are used which, during closing of the breaker, are connected in parallel relationship with the main switching gap of the circuit breaker by means of an auxiliary switching gap. In the switch-off position of the auxiliary switching path shown in FIG. 6, the main switching path is switched on. To switch off the main switching section, the crank mechanism 7 is moved in the direction of the arrow 14 together with the gear provided for this purpose, the hub 15 surrounding the rotary shaft 6 forming a stop and guide surface for the connecting rod 5. In the switched-off position of the main switching section, the connecting rod bearing (joint 9) again reaches the bent part 10b and is ready for a restart. The cushion pad 13 may be made of rubber or other suitable shock absorbing material.

Claims (5)

1. A high-voltage power switch having a switch-on impedance (2) which during the course of the switch-on procedure is connected by way of an auxiliary switching path (3) parallel to the main switching path (1), and is disconnected after closure of this by the opening of the auxiliary switching path (3), until switching-on of the main switching path (1) again, a movable auxiliary switching pin (3a) of the auxiliary switching path (3) which is spring-loaded in the disconnection direction, and a connecting rod (5) which is articulated to the auxiliary switching pin (3a) and to a rotatably- mounted crank drive (7), of the drive element, characterised in that the crank drive (7) has a slide or coulisse (10)'which enforces movement of the hinge (9) of the connecting rod (5) associated therewith, and which consists of a part (10a) which is concentric whith the shaft (6) of the crank gear (7) and of a rectilinear part (10b) joined thereto, which is mounted in front in the connection direction and which is bent approximately radially outwards. --
2. A high-voltage power switch according to Claim 1, characterised in that the slide or coulisse (10) has parallel guide surfaces, for the hinge (9) of the connecting rod (5).
3. A high-voltage power switch according to Claim 1, characterised in that, at its ends the slide or coulisse (10) is provided with damping pads (13).
4. A high-voltage power switch according to Claim 1, characterised in that to the rectilinear part (10b) of the slide or coulisse (10), there is assigned a projection (12) which acts on the connecting rod (5) as a trigger element.
5. A high-voltage power switch according to Claim 1, characterised in that the slide or coulisse (10) is provided with a hub (15) which forms the stop-surface and guide-surface for the connecting rod (5).
