Dies gilt insbesondere für Verkokungstüren vergleichsweise großer Bauhöhe. Bei den eintretenden Formänderungen des Türkörpers durch unterschiedliche Temperaturdifferenzen, wie sie sich im Betrieb während der Garungszeit einerseits oder bei Änderung der Durchsatzleistung andererseits ergeben, reichen - über einen längeren Zeitraum gesehen - die bekannten Konstruktionen jedenfalls nicht immer aus, einen wirksamen Kammerabschluß zu erzielen. Elastische, am Türkörper verstellbare und durch Einwirkung von Druckelementen zur Anlage gebrachte Dichtleisten an durch Wärmeeinwirkung verformte Kammerrahmen zeigten in der Praxis Undichtigkeiten unmittelbar nach dem Einfüllen der Kohle in die Ofenkammer, insbesondere aber nach längerer Betriebszeit, wenn die Verformung des Kammerrahmens oder des Türkörpers so groß waren, daß ein einwandfreies Nachstellen unter Beibehaltung der ursprünglich geplanten und konstruierten Anlagenlinie der Schneide der Dichtleiste nicht mehr eingehalten werden konnte. Erfindungsgemäß wird eine Verkokungsofentür vorgeschlagen, die gekennzeichnet ist durch die Kombination folgender Merkmale:

  • a) daß die Membrane mit der Dichtleiste am Türkörper befestigt ist,
  • b) daß der Türstopfen am Türkörper unter Belassung eines Zwischenraumes befestigt ist und
  • c) daß die Oberfläche der äußeren Begrenzung der Steinhalter mit Abstand von der Unterseite der Befestigungsplatte des Torstopfens angeordnet ist.

Bei der letzteren Anbringungsart verändert sich mit jeder Durchbiegung oder Lagenveränderung des Türstopfens auch das Abstandsmaß zu den Druckelementen, wohingegen bei der Befestigung sowohl der Membrane als auch der Druckelemente am Türkörper das Abstandsmaß konstant bleibt.
