Description

Une telle machine comprend un bâti inférieur et un bâti supérieur dans lesquels sont montés des jeux de rouleaux d'entraînement et de guidage de la tôle, fonctionnant par paires, ces bâtis délimitant une enceinte dans laquelle circule un fluide de refroidissement. Suivant un mode de réalisation, cette enceinte entoure également les rouleaux d'entraînement et de guidage et les arrivées et les départs du fluide de refroidissement s'effectuent au droit de ces rouleaux. De préférence, l'alimentation et l'évacuation du liquide de refroidissement s'effectuent au niveau de jeux de rouleaux différents, l'évacuation étant réalisée en particulier au niveau des jeux de rouleaux situés, respectivement, au voisinage des extrémités d'entrée et de sortie de la machine. Claims (2)

1. A machine for cooling metal sheets, comprising a lower frame (2) and an upper frame (4) defining an enclosure (5), in which a cooling fluid circulates, a plurality of driving and guiding roll sets (1, 3) for the sheets, mounted on the frames so as to define a horizontal passage plane for the sheets between input and output ends of the enclosure, a cooling fluid feed circuit (10-17) connected to said enclosure, a lower cooling liquid discharge circuit (18-20) associated with the lower frame and an upper cooling fluid discharge circuit (22-26) associated with the upper frame, said circuits comprising in particular conduits (18, 22) opening in the enclosure (5) in the vicinity of the input and output ends thereof, said machine further comprising a cooling liquid recovery tank (R) to which the feed and discharge circuits are connected, said tank being located below the level of the passage plane of the sheets, characterized in that the upper discharge circuit is in the shape of a siphon and comprises a priming device (27) for creating a depression in said siphon and in that the discharge circuit comprises flow regulating means (21
