Definitions

  • the invention relates to a facade elevator for walls with recessed parts with a suspension structure suspended on cables for a gondola rotatably mounted thereon about a vertical axis, the length of which is greater than its width.
  • Facade lifts are used for cleaning windows on buildings, for carrying out repairs and for checking facades.
  • the ropes on which the gondola hangs are generally guided via swiveling brackets to a carriage which can be moved on the building roof and which can be moved parallel to the facade.
  • the lift and undercarriage are controlled from the nacelle. Limit switches limit the lift of the facade lift up and down. After the work on the facade has been completed, the gondola can be lowered onto the roof of the building using the swivel arm.
  • the gondola is connected to the end of a support arm belonging to a pantograph guide.
  • the pantograph guide is in turn connected to a pivot bearing of the supporting structure.
  • recessed facade parts in particular windows, can also be reached from the gondola.
  • the well-known facade elevator is structurally complex and the control of the gondola is difficult.
  • the object of the invention is to improve the design and control technology of a facade elevator of the type described in the introduction.
  • nacelle is mounted directly on the supporting structure by means of a pivot bearing arranged centrally on the floor and / or on the roof.
  • recessed facade parts can be achieved by rotating the nacelle so that its longitudinal axis extends essentially orthogonally to the facade, the shorter side of the nacelle then being in front of the recessed facade part.
  • the inclination of the gondola due to one-sided weight loading when working on the facade remains low because the gondola is pivoted about a central axis of rotation.
  • Remaining angles of inclination can e.g. B. be compensated for by carrying counterweights in the nacelle and arranging them accordingly.
  • As a balance weight z. B. serve a water container that is required anyway when cleaning the window.
  • the supporting structure can be a frame made of vertical supports and horizontal cross members, the cables being connected to the upper cross member, while the nacelle is mounted on the upper and / or lower cross member.
  • the frame can have at least two stems arranged next to the short sides of the gondola.
  • An embodiment is more expedient, however, in which the frame has two stems next to each short side of the gondola, which are arranged in the region of the gondola corners. This results in a stable and load-bearing construction, which behaves reliably even when the nacelle is rotated relative to the support structure.
  • the window cleaner or the like has full freedom of movement in the area of his upper body and can still be supported safely on or in the gondola.
  • the supporting structure is a crossbar suspended from the cables, on which the gondola is rotatably suspended with a frame-like structure.
  • the frame-like structure of the gondola can have vertical stems arranged on the corners of the gondola and a roof construction attached to the free ends thereof, which is mounted on and under the crossmember.
  • the gondola with stems and roof construction has sufficient rigidity, which enables the gondola to be rotated relative to the crossbar.
  • the traverse is also stored in a substantially rectangular plan and in the area of its corners on the ropes, i.e. connected to a total of four ropes, the ropes can be loaded unevenly if the nacelle rotated by 90 ° is loaded on one side.
  • the pivot bearing for the nacelle can be pivotally mounted on the crossbar about a horizontal axis. If necessary, the horizontal pivotability of the pivot bearing can be limited by stops.
  • At least the crossmember receiving the pivot bearing should have a width corresponding to the width of the gondola and a length which is greater than the length of the gondola, the pivot or pivot bearings for the gondola having a diameter substantially corresponding to the crossmember width.
  • the pivot bearing for the nacelle can be a slewing ring. This makes it possible to transmit the moments occurring when the nacelle is rotated relative to the crossbar and the gondola is loaded on one side without difficulty into the bearing and from there into the crossbar.
  • stops can be arranged on the gondola and the supporting structure.
  • a device for locking the nacelle relative to the supporting structure can be provided.
  • FIG. 1 shows the facade 1 of a building which has one or more facade parts 2 with windows 3 that spring back against the facade 1.
  • a facade elevator In front of the facade 1 or in front of the facade part 2 there is a facade elevator with a gondola 4 which is suspended on ropes 5 and which can be moved vertically and horizontally in a plane parallel to the facade 1.
  • the gondola 4 shown has the customary open box shape with side walls 6 reaching approximately at waist height and a railing 7 fastened to the upper edge of the outer side wall 6, which extends to approximately chest height.
  • the nacelle 4 also has a base which is fastened on a bearing 9 designed as a rotating ring.
  • the other part of the slewing ring is fastened to a crossmember 10 which has approximately the same width as the nacelle 4 and whose length is somewhat greater than the length of the nacelle 4.
  • the slewing ring has a diameter that is only slightly less than the width of the cross member 10.
  • the gondola 4 is in the position shown with solid lines relative to the support structure formed from the crossbeams 10, 15 and the stems 11-14, i.e. the longer side walls of the gondola 4 are essentially parallel to the facade 1. If a facade part 2 that springs back relative to the facade 1 or a window 3 arranged therein is processed, eg. B. to be cleaned, the nacelle 4 is rotated about a vertical axis 17 of the bearing 9 by about 90 ° until the lower crossmember 10 and the bottom 8 of the nacelle 4 arranged stops 18 and 19 meet. With a device not shown, the gondola 4 can be locked relative to the supporting structure in certain angular positions.
  • the gondola 4 now takes up the position of the facade 1 in the position shown in FIGS. 1 and 2 with dashed lines, i.e. the longer side walls of the gondola extend essentially orthogonally to the facade 1.
  • the narrower side wall 20 of the gondola 4 now extends considerably closer to the recessed facade part 2, so that the window 3 arranged therein is easily cleaned can be.
  • the inclination of the gondola 4 resulting from the one-sided weight loading in this working position can be easily determined by weights, e.g. B. can be compensated by a water tank arranged on the other side.
  • the gondola 4 has vertical stems 21-24 at its corners, which are connected at their upper ends to a roof structure 25.
  • the roof structure 25 forms with the stems 21-24 and the nacelle 4 a frame-like construction which is connected to the crossbar 15 suspended on the cables 5 via the bearing 9 designed as a rotating ring.
  • the slewing ring is designed so that it can also absorb the tensile forces resulting from the weight load.
  • the nacelle 4 just as in the exemplary embodiment shown in FIGS. 1 and 2, can be rotated about the axis 17 of the bearing 9 relative to the crossmember 9 until it assumes the position shown in broken lines.
  • the part of the bearing 9 belonging to the cross member 15 is mounted in a joint 26 with a horizontal axis 27 on the cross member 15.
  • the cross member 15 has a recess 28 in which the bearing part associated with the cross member 15 is movably arranged, and this bearing part is suspended on a pivot pin 29 which is held on both sides in brackets 30, 31. If necessary, stops (not shown) can be provided which limit the pivoting movement about the horizontal axis 27.
