Claims (12)

1. Disposable and destructible stopper produced in plastic material, which is permanently and tightly secured by its lower end (4a) to the free edge (2a) of the neck (2) of a bottle and which comprises a frontal obturation (3) and a lateral wall or skirt (4) the upper end of which is joined to said obturation, characterized in that the obturation is constituted by a frontal wall (3), the lateral skirt comprising an upper part (4e) joined to said frontal wall, as well as a lower (4a) and/or intermediate (4f)part and that said parts extend one from the other and have at least in part the shape of straight cylinders of same cross-section, and in that it comprises a tear-off annular strip (10) between said upper part (4e) and said lower (4a) or intermediate (4f) part.

Stopper according to claim 1, characterized in that said annular tear-off strip is joined to said parts of the skirt in such a way that its inner face constitutes one part of the skirt (4) adapted to come into contact with the product contained in the bottle. 3. Stopper according to any one of claims 1 or 2, characterized in thatsaid tear-off annular strip (10) is provided with a grasping tab and is joined to the upper part (14e) and to the lower (4a) or intermediate (4f) part of the skirt (4) via thinner annular areas (8,9) permitting the destruction of the stopper (1) and the tearing off of the skirt (4) by pulling on the grasping tab (12).

Stopper according to any one of claims 1 to 3, characterized in that at least the upper part (4e) of the skirt (4) of the stopper (1) has the shape of a cylinder truncated by a flat vertical side wall (23), parallel to the axis of the stopper, said side wall (23) being, when seen from above, a secant to the circular cross-section of the cylinder and the grasping tab (12) is cylinder-shaped and situated inside the periphery of the skirt (4).

6. Stopper according to any one of claims 1 to 5, characterized in that the frontal obturation wall (3) of the stopper (1) is at least slightly bulging inwardly of the skirt (4) of the stopper (1).

Stopper according to any one of claims 1 to 6, characterized in that the lower end (4a) of the skirt (4) which end is applied against the inner face of the bottle neck (2), is entirely cylindrical whereas an intermediate part (4f) is nearly entirely cylindrical and comprises a vertical flat part (14) which is situated opposedly to the grasping tab (12) and to the flat wall (23) of the upper cylindrical part (4e) of the skirt (4) and extends up to the frontal wall (3) thereof.
.8. Stopper according to claim 7, characterized in that the intermediate part (4f) of the skirt (4) is provided on its cylindrical periphery, with the exception of the flat part (14), with a horizontal weaker zone.
9. Stopper according to any one of claims 1 to 8, and in which the skirt (4) comprises at its lower end (4a) penetrating into the neck (2), a transverse annular sealing flange (15), characterized in that said flange (15) is provided on its lower face with a sealing rib (19).
10. Stopper according to any one of claims 1 to 9, characterized in that one (8) of the weaker zones (8,9) is provided in the immediate vicinity of the obturation wall (3) of the stopper (1).
11. Stopper according to any one of claims 1 to 10, characterized in that the tear-off strip (10) presents a thinner part (13) helping to start the strip-tearing off operation.
12. Container equipped with a stopper according to any one of claims 1 to 11, and in which the stopper (1) is permanently fixed on the edge (2a) of the neck (2) and comprises a lateral skirt (4), characterized in that the neck (2) presents a cylindrical end (17) of small height followed by an annular inner shouldering (18) into which an annular flange (15) of the stopper (1) engages without any noticeable play, said shouldering (18) joining up with the narrower part of the neck (2) which also receives, without any lateral play, the lower end (4a) of the skirt (4).
